We really enjoyed our three‑day stay and appreciated everyone’s kindness.
Special thanks to Richard for all his great help, especially on our wedding‑photo day.
Sorry my English isn’t good enough to express everything I feel.
The hotel is clean, food fresh and the environment very peaceful. We had a lovely time.

The perfect romantic and private splurge getaway
Pros:

Great location, very quiet surroundings, only 9 rooms or so and all service felt extremely personal and welcoming. You need a car to get here about 30 mins from Como town, and they have a private garage 2 min from the property. Beautiful views from the pool deck and restaurant overlooking the lake for every meal. They also have their own gorgeous garden where they grow produce for the restaurant where you can walk around. Perfect for a 3 day stay with short drive to main ports in menaggio to get to belaggio and varenna for a day trip. You can also rent a Como boat with a private driver picking you up right by the hotel and taking a tour around the lake and dropping you off anywhere. This was the highlight of our stay and totally worth it for a once in a lifetime experience.

We had some bugs in our room but probably came in from the balcony so not really a complaint

Un lieu hors du temps où tout est raffinement et serenité
Pros:

Tout. L’emplacement. La vue exceptionnelle sur le lac. Les équipements (même si la piscine est un petite) les installations. La cuisine avec les légumes et les fruits du jardin. Et surtout la qualité de l’accueil et le service: Richard évidemment mais pas seulement. Tout le personnel est très gentil. Aucune pollution sonore car la route passe beaucoup plus bas.

Heerlijk!
Pros:

Kleinschalig complex , leuke villa met klein maar mooi zwembad en vooral prachtig uitzicht. Ontbijt is prima geregeld en ook 'avonds kun je er prima eten. Richard en zijn team hebben het prima voor elkaar en doen er alles aan om het je naar wens te maken.

Cons:

Het dorpje Colonno stelt verder niet veel voor , dus 'avonds nog even rond lopen is er niet bij, dan moet je echt naar Menaggio bijvoorbeeld wat al snel weer 20 min met de auto is.

Por destacar algo, la amabilidad del personal.

Cons:

Está alejado de casi todo, hay que recurrir al coche o autobús para todo. El restaurante está bien, si comes carne a rabiar, en nuestro caso muy pocas opciones. Habíamos elegido este hotel por las vistas que supuestamente tiene del
Lago. No existen!! Porque además buscábamos tranquilidad, por lo que decidimos que fueran hoteles sin niños. Había familias enteras.
