The room was SMALL- no space between the walls and the bed which you access from the bottom part. There is a small table if you want to work but not really comfortable.
The breakfast if ok but there is not a lot of choice unfortunately.

The room was a bit noisy, even if I was on a top floor.

My main issue was with what happened on the last day when I left. The staff was nice but I asked for a wake up call because my flight was around 5AM and I didn't trust my cell phone.
I checked several times with the staff the night before and they said everything will be ok. Unfortunately, the wake up call never arrived, and I was lucky I woke up suddenly (because some noise in the street) - actually just on time to quickly get dressed and get down. The guy during the check out didn't seem to care about what I said (he wasn't rude perhaps just sleepy) but I would have missed my flight if I were to rely on this basic wake up call service. I wasn't asked how was my stay and no opportunity to give my feedback. Disappointing !

Bed had to be accessed from the end , you can't get into the bed from either the left or right side which was not ideal .
Would not be suitable for someone who is not mobile

Bedrooms not the biggest with nowhere to sit and relax however nice area downstairs/roof top to do this.

Tutto. Staff cafone e impreparato. Non parlano una parola d’ Italiano (a Roma…) davanti a me c’erano 4 americani e 2 front desk ed in 6 nessuno sapeva pronunciare e dove fosse Civitavecchia. Hanno provato a negarmi il late checkout perché non sapevano che ai platinum Bonvoy andasse concesso. Le lenzuola erano piene di sabbia perché le povere governanti sono costrette a salire con i piedi sul letto per rifarlo la mattina. Ottima catena gestita da incompetenti.

Questa è la mia seconda esperienza al Citizen e, in questa occasione, ho voluto mostrare l’hotel a mio marito. Le considerazioni già espresse in precedenza non sono cambiate, anzi sono state confermate anche dalle sue impressioni.

Entrambi concordiamo sul fatto che l’assoluta mancanza di servizi — dal self check-in, spesso macchinoso, al self check-out, fino alla colazione in stile mensa — venga abilmente mascherata come un concetto “cool” e “smart”. In sostanza, servizi da hotel due stelle presentati come un’esperienza dal respiro internazionale.

Riteniamo inoltre che la struttura sia più adatta a un soggiorno in solitaria: il letto, se condiviso, risulta scomodo a causa della presenza di un solo lato accessibile, con il comodino posizionato da una sola parte, rendendo poco pratico salire e scendere dal letto.

Alla luce di tutto ciò, il rapporto qualità-prezzo appare poco giustificato. Va comunque riconosciuto un lieve miglioramento delle tariffe rispetto ai prezzi eccessivi registrati nel mese di maggio.
