Would be perfect for a one night stay if it wasn’t for the obstacles mentioned.

Cons:

Arrived just after midnight and found line of guests 10-15 deep waiting to check in and only one staff member. Signage for those walking from the terminal is poor. After finally checking in the only options for getting to your room across this vast property was to walk in the dark or wait an unknown time for a buggy. Room clean but very small and not worth the top dollar paid. More lack of directions trying to find breakfast in the morning.

Won't stay at IBIS in Darwin again.
Pros:

Location was great right next to the airport. We only had an overnight stay.

Cons:

The service was exceptionally poor , the smoke detector outside our room beeped every minute approx and we didn’t get any sleep. In addition there were cockroaches in the bedroom.

Convenient spot for in-transit travel
Pros:

Close to the airport which was great for in-transit travel.

Cons:

Small rooms, quite a long walk from reception and no lift access to second floor (problematic with cases)

Use the awesome pool area for a rest prior to flying out of Darwin
Pros:

Great when flying out of Darwin airport. Basic clean rooms. Amenities around the pool are awesome . Airport transfer is easy and reliable.

Cons:

Check in tried to charge us twice. It was a lengthy process to get this sorted.
