From day 1 I was disappointed.
The room we were promised we did not get, instead we had an old apartment that had just come into the rental pool.
It was not ready to be rented and even the massage I received from management was sorry this room was not to their expectations. The aircon in lounge was not working, it took 3 days to fix, then worked for 3 hours and then all aircons did not work so not aircon overnight again. Smoke detectors no battery highly illegal in Australia standards
the apartment was not clean, grime in oven and microwave, sill and windows dirty. floors not mopped. Stains on mattresses, no mattress protectors and the list will go on.
for the price of nearly $2000 it was a rip off.

Tropical vibes
Pros:

Kids loved the tennis and basketball court. The beds and recliners where comfortable and we used both the spa and the pool most days, the rocky river was fun for the kids to float leaves down.

Apart from the payment issue we still enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Assistant General Manager Julie was very helpful and understanding in working with us to sort out an issue we had with trying to pay for the accommodation

Cons:

Being told we would have to vacate the premises by reception staff 8.30pm on a Friday night after 12 hours of travel. My credit card was being declined even though adequate money was in the account. This turned out to be quite an issue that I wanted to resolve with the receptionist rather than having to defend myself.

Apart from the few problems we had an amazing time

The whole family loved the size of the hot spa pool,

Cons:

Wasn’t enough outside seating on our patio for the 6 of us, we had only 4 kitchen forks for 6 people, had to ask matainance guy to fix a few things in our apartment on first day
