I’d stay there again in a second.
Pros:

At first I was worried I’d made a mistake booking a hotel with two bars because I was worried it would be noisy. But the room was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Small bathroom but had everything you need.

The building was full of character and charm. Beautiful old building with fun and quirky photography throughout the corridors. Upstairs terrace was lovely. Downstairs the food was simple but high quality pub food and the mulled wine was the perfect moody drink and delicious.

Cons:

There was an issue with the hot water but that was repaired super quickly.

I emailed the hotel to let them know ( no one at reception on departure) but I did not receive a reply.I would not stay

Lovely old pub, would happily stay there again

Cons:

Needs bigger supply of fresh water in the library for coffee tea etc.
Brief instructions on wall as to how to work pod coffee machine perhaps!😁

One of my favourite stays in Sydney
Pros:

Great room, comfy bed, nice and clean. There was a cute little library where they served a small breakfast every day - just coffee, juice, yoghurt and some simple pastries. But it was really nice!
The bar staff were super friendly, and the food served in the pub downstairs is really good too.

Cons:

Lots of stairs to get up to the room, which was fine for us, but might be a bit hard for elderly or disabled people.
