Limehome Porto Rua da Conceicao

At night from the bar below was noisy but I got earplugs and worked well :)
the Communication from Limehome was very generic and not custom replies I had to ask few times to be specific with the responses.

Upon arrival on Saturday 25 April, the floor of my room was dirty and I had to clean it myself. Limehome promised 15% discount for both nights as compensation – this promise was never honoured.

The room did not resemble the Booking.com photos in any meaningful way. Sleep was also disturbed by street noise – the soundproofing was completely inadequate.

On Sunday 26 April I returned from a short trip to a nearby shop to find the door would not open. The cause was flat batteries – a 2-minute fix. The technician arrived after 7 hours of waiting.

During this time my wallet, cash, clothing and passport were locked inside. No representative was physically present – customer service operated remotely from Barcelona. I was repeatedly told the technician would arrive "soon" – these promises were false. My one and only full day in Porto was lost entirely – all planned meetings and activities were cancelled.

The safety risk is real – the door had a manual key override but nobody knew where the key was. What if a child or person with limited mobility had been left inside the room?

Limehome offered partial refunds against my explicit wishes – I did not accept them. Limehome has unilaterally declared the matter closed without adequate resolution. The matter remains open and is currently being reviewed by several authorities.

Is it the guest's responsibility to stay on-site and wait when no staff are available? What is the hourly rate for that?

A remotely operated hotel that collapses due to three flat batteries does not meet the minimum standards of hospitality.

Everything about this apartment was bad, broken chair, no fridge in the room, wall sockets broken, electric box exposed, curtain that does not close, hard mattress, lack of cups and spoons. Literally the worst apartment. LimeHome should feel ashamed, I used to live their apartments but room 102 was awful!!

O chuveiro era forte mais a têmpera oscilava e vinha um jato quente de tirar o couro. Na segunda noite o ar desligou e não ligou mais, com o calor do período foi muito complicado. Pedi para fazer late check e não deixaram mesmo com todos estes problemas.

We understand the price was low but the stairs towards the upper beds are insanely impractical. It did not look extremely clean and the kitchen is tiny. I recommend this only for quick 1-2 night stay, you can’t really do much cooking and it’s generally too small for 4 persons.

Noise!
There are people downstair in the bar talking loud at night and in the morning 6am comes the trash truck.

Fraca insonorização face ao ruído exterior, ( zona de muito ruído toda a noite ) oferecer tampões para os ouvidos não é claramente uma solução ! Ar Condicionado com problemas ( além de pingar água fazia também ruídos toda a noite), humidades nas paredes ( o quarto tinha cheiro a mofo ) chuveiro deficiente ( temperatura da água inconstante, por vezes queimava ).

On the other hand it’s pretty loudly but there was ear plugs which was very helpful.
The bed is comfortable.
