Great location
Pros:

Location, modern room, pretty clean, nice kettle and tasteful bathroom.

Cons:

No elevator, and I didn’t see that part advertised. Had to curry luggage up stairs by myself as no staff. Otherwise great.

close to eateries and trains, perfect for a quick weekend away
Pros:

the room was clean and tidy with fresh towels. there was even a cool little fridge that had blue neon lights in it. walking distance to pubs and cafes for morning breakfast. secure car parking a quick 10 minute walk away, with the train station also within walking distance. we arrived friday night, caught the train into melbourne saturday morning to watch a footy game, trained back to geelong at 9pm. was a well lit and safe walk from the station back to the motel

Cons:

most motels have 4 pillows, 2 soft and 2 firm, unfortunately, all 4 of our pillows were more on the soft side, lol

Overall wasnt all that bad, bed was comfy.
Pros:

Location is good, as close to everything in the city. It was kept very clean aswell.

Cons:

The sound of the little bar fridge in the room, it was noisy as. Also you can hear the bass from the nightclub abit.

The bare minimum ammenities for the price point were not provided. Ammenities like microwave are bare minimum if someone wants to cook or warm food

Easy to enter. Great location for food and Arts Centre. Easy walking to things.
Pros:

Location was excellent. Was hard getting in through the second back door. Had to wait on someone passing, otherwise was going around to the front. Could hear music from the venue opposite but was fine for me going to sleep. Decor pretty cute.

Cons:

Kettle very cute but was hard getting space to pour up a cuppa.

Sans hospitality.
Pros:

The Electric Hotel is a code entry premises and code enabled lock box to get the Room fob. Once this achieved, you are free to come and go. I was happy with the minimalist set up. The room had a comfy bed with ensuute, tea/coffee, small fridge, tv, wifi. Communication on booking details was via email. An sms text had the final access codes. Good secure. methods in my opinion. Usual credit card security deposit refundable on tvacate.

Cons:

Two Coffee vouchers for The Baltic Cafe, Ltl Malop Street. The attendant would not allow me to redeem both on my day of departure when I planned to dine in breakfast. So, I dined elsewhere. Business decisions like this signal conditional priority over hospitality. Trade is not a one way transaction.

Open milk left in fridge
Pros:

Location was good. Batgroom was visually appealing.

Cons:

The milk in the fridge was open and half full. Recieved my access codes via text 2 hours after check in and an email about checking in the day after I checked out. The bed was hard. Would not recommend as there are no staff at the venue and access details were delayed and unclear also the off open milk.

Arrogance an judgement
Pros:

I normally live off grid so l have a couple of 🔥 fires going to keep warm so everything l own at the moment smells like camp fire smoke so l rush down here with a couple of bags of smokey clothes an left them in the room while going to see my father in palliative care an they kept my security deposit because they assumed l was 🚬 smokeing in the room l eventually got the deposit back..But come on very disappointing....

Great hotel in the centre of Geelong
Pros:

There was nothing not to like. Having stayed here for the second time, it was beyond my expectations and great value for money.
