A fantastic hotel in a great location, highly recommended!
Pros:

Modern, clean, quiet, great location, good breakfast and nice bar for a drink, coffee or cake.
All the staff were excellent but a special mention to Anthony and the team at reception - great service - a credit to Dorsett

Cons:

I do like a soft bed but they were just a little firm for me.

Modern, well priced and comfortable
Pros:

I wish I could live here! Love the convenience of the pool sauna area on the same level. The rooms are spacious and modern! Staff are friendly and helpful. The entry foyer also smells amazing 😊 try it out! You will not be disappointed

No 24/7 room service on all items on menu

Cons:

This time the staff are really rude. When I asked if my request for room was granted, staff said - we give you want's available.... I was like "WOW"... All I wanted was a room with a working table. When I arrived, the room had the smallest work table and wasn't my request. Went back down and ask, he said - we're full. The girl next to him rolled her eyes as well.

Always stayed here but the staff must be having a bad day.

Not happy with how we were accommodated
Cons:

I didn't like the fact that breakfast i paid for wasn't available once my flight got moved and we had to get a breakfast box which was the worst thing ever experienced. We left it at reception the croissants were stale everything was bad so paid for breakfast but didnt even get it.

Cons:

I kept my bracelt inside the room and went out. After i went i called and informed them to keep it aside. But they told it was not there.. when we enquired deeply they casually said to inform the police. Staffs were not cooperating

Excellent location
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

The location is excellent. The airport bus stops just across the road from the hotel, making the journey from the airport incredibly convenient—it took only about 25 minutes.

The front desk staff were exceptional. They were always friendly, professional, and responded to our requests very quickly. Two experiences really stood out:

First, during the school holidays, the hotel had a stamp collection activity where children could exchange completed stamp cards for a teddy bear. By the time my daughter collected all the stamps, the event had officially ended. The front desk staff went out of their way to search for one last teddy bear so she wouldn’t be disappointed. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made her day.

Second, after we checked in, I called the front desk to ask for an extra blanket. It was delivered to our room within just a few minutes, which really impressed us with their efficiency.

Excellent location, outstanding service, and genuine care for their guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Quality hotel with Melbourne cbd and close to Southern Cross Station
Pros:

I have stayed at The Dorsett a few times now, still quite new, we were both given room upgrades which had balconies. Beds so comfy. Used bar and took advantage of happy hour then, stayed on for dinner. Great food. Really like this hotel.
