Definitely stay there but bring tramping boots to traverse that 5th floor carpet to the gym & pool!
Pros:

The apartment was the cleanest and neatest I’ve rented. The mattress and bedding were just as I love & great standard. Better overall than I expected. Staff help was available and prompt. 10/10.

Cons:

The unhygienic state of the carpet along the 5th floor. My 7 year old asked politely why it smelt like [her puppy’s] poop. You really have no choice here- this carpet needs a deep clean every 3-4 months. The current one needs removal and the place needs to look after the next carpet in the 5th floor. It’s the floor with the pool & gym- you have no other option I’m afraid.

Stop over for 2 nights with family from New Zealand

Location very handy to shopping centre and station. Luggage stored for later collection

Average at best , noisy at night with trains running til late . I would not stay again.

Stove didn’t work, no amenities like salt or oil or tissues . For a 3 night stay the kitchen facilities were poor- a scratched, unusable frypan- I went out and purchased one, no simple things like spatula/egg turner. No one cube tray, 1 garbage bag, 1 dish powder etc. bedside lamp didn’t work either

Nice location. Nice apartment.

Blood and snot on the blinds and walls. Moved me out of the room with the blood but did nothing about the snot.

Pros:

The location is great, nice and close to everything. The room was quite nice.

Cons:

The sliding balcony door has no handles on the outside so can only be opened from the inside. We found this out after locking ourselves out on the balcony and having to call reception to send someone to open the door.
A bit worrying and dangerous, if we hadn't had our phones on us we would have been stuck on the balcony until the cleaners came the following day.

Pros:

This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed here the night before our wedding. We knew the room was great for makeup as the large windows let in a lot of natural light. The hotel staff have been lovely both times and the easy access to the city/Fortitude Valley is great.

Excellent stay in middle of Fortitude Valley
Pros:

Excellent location for exploring Fortitude Valley and Howard Street Wharves (short walk). Upgraded to 2 bedrrom when booked 1 bedroom so that was a pleasant surprise. Value for money-had everything you wanted. We were on 24th floor on a Saturday night so noise wasn't too bad. With earplugs you can overcome it.

Cons:

Second tv in bedroom.

Centrally located to the venue where we had to go for the night. Very clean and tidy
