Good accommodation, but terrible (crime-related) car parking arrangement by hotel

Room was clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable.

Cons:

Very disappointed and concerned that my car was broken into, window smashed and goods stolen, in the car park with which the TRYP hotel has an arrangement, and provided a parking code etc. The damage happened on the level of the carpark recommended by the hotel staff. I mentioned this to hotel concierge they told me management would contact me but they did not. Concierge also said other cars had been broken into that month in the car park that the hotel uses, and goods stolen (eg laptop). Yet the hotel continues to recommend Roper St carpark for guest vehicles, and provide gate code. The vandalism significantly impacted my trip to Adelaide, and no official apology or compensation was provided by the hotel. I was so concerned about leaving my car anywhere in Adelaide city after that event that I cut short the trip and did not use the third night of the TRYP stay I had paid for, when my car came back from emergency repair. I wrote to TRYP hotel chain management about the event after a review was requested, and received no reply.

A classy room in a brilliant hotel.
Pros:

The room was outstanding. One of the best I have stayed at in this price range.

Fabulous room and comfortable sleep!
Pros:

The room was great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, it was quiet overnight and a very big TV.

Cons:

The location was slightly further out than some other hotels, but not too far to walk to. I didn’t use the hotel facilities other than the room, so I cannot comment on them (e.g. breakfast or gym).
