The Best bistro food and rooms were nice clean and different

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Schön renoviertes Hotel in Ortsmitte. Mit Liebe zum Detail saniert und ausgestattet. Restaurant sehr gut, Frühstück ok.

Cons:

Wir hatten Raum 6, es fehlte Ablagefläche. Ansonsten toll gemacht.

Sehr originell eingerichtet, ein Hotel mit Geschichte. Die Organisation und Qualität des stets inklusiven Frühstücks war für uns perfekt.

Cons:

Aus Platzgründen keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten, selbst die Nachttische waren fast komplett durch die Lampen belegt.
Vielleicht aus stylischen Gründen keine Badezimmertür, da muss man sich schon mögen, wenn einer auf's Klo geht...

Heritage hotel but could be better
Pros:

Lovely renovation. Very comfortable bed

Cons:

No door on toilet really uncomfortable. Open shower means water all over bathroom floor. Very small room, so nowhere to put luggage. Staff weren't too friendly- we seemed like an inconvenience to them

Old world charm in the centre of Eden.
Pros:

Beautifully refurbished old hotel right in the middle of Eden. Our room was delightful, spacious and just full of charm. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and breakfast was on the house. The staff were also very friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

It was great to stay in a 5-star heritage pub.
Pros:

The heritage decor was classy. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was 5 stars.

Cons:

The pub toilets are in a temporary building out the back of the beer garden. They are clean and fully functional so not a problem.

Large renovated rooms with great bath. Breakfast in room was a nice touch

Cons:

On site pizza restaurant was unable to serve us due to being busy (1.5 hour wait for food). Perhaps prioritise hotel guests before large walk in groups!

Great renovation, with some fraying around the edges of the experience.
Pros:

Lovely plush renovation.

Cons:

The lighting in the main areas, while opulent, is way too bright. That significantly took away from the nice decor.
The bedroom was also very comfortable, (great bed, lovely bedding), but one weirdness (this was room 1) was that there is no door or curtain to the bathroom, so that the toilet was in full view of the main room, including from the bed.
The staff were very overworked and harassed, which led to some of them being rather brusque and unfriendly.
