The Best so place to connect with Nature.
Pros:

The place is absolutely beautiful. Away from the city noise. The staff were amazing, we get to know them all as they always check on us time to time. The food in their menu is super good. They even surprise me on my birthday in my room. It was very very good experience. They made my stay nothing but extraordinary. Weda, Pak Made, Widia, Bu Wayan, Bu Buda, Purni, Awan, super special Thanks to Erlina.

Cons:

It’s just far, which I understand as it’s a retreat place.

Pros:

De beaux cottages, une vue magnifique
Jardins et piscine au top
Des repas de qualités et à un prix très raisonnable
Belle attention : le petit déjeuner devant la piscine

Cons:

Sentier de 1km pour y arriver long et très vallonné
Impossible de le faire à pied avec les bagages
D’autant que trois chiens se montrent très agressifs
Il faut arriver avec un chauffeur privé ou grab
Mais impossible de repartir avec un grab ils refusent de faire le sentier
Et l’absence d’un petit frigo dans chaque cottage est dommage malgré une kitchenette en sous sol

La vue, la piscine

Cons:

L'isolement, le manque de possibilité pour bouger et visiter la région, les repas ( 2 personnes /4 à être malade pendant plusieurs jours), le personnel a du mal à communiquer

Porte bien son nom de retraite..
Pros:

Ensemble de bungalows avec une vue magnifique depuis la piscine et le petit salon.
Le complexe se situe juste avant les lacs et non loin des cascades il est donc plutôt très bien situé.
Ambiance zen garantie ! Nous étions solo dans le complexe début juin.

Cons:

L'accès peut faire peur... Nécessite un niveau expérimenté en maniement du scooter 🫣
L'absence de service hôtelier. On est plus ici sur un mode "camping" avec des bungalows équipés pour cuisiner et un accueil qui propose le minimum c'est à dire petit déjeuner et dîner sur demande selon l'heure (plutôt pour dépanner).

Great lodging to visit Mundunk area
Pros:

- the view over the valley with its sunset, with sometime mist, this is really poetic
- having dinner outside near the pool with our friends, the host manage extra lights around the pool to make us comfortable
- 5 min drive to get to a beautiful Munduk waterfalls hiking (you see 5) and walk half day with the breaks
- you are in the middle of Hortensia fields !! This is incredible !
- the breakfast with the view !!

Cons:

Following previous comments I read :
- ok the path to get there is not easy, you need a good car, our driver did it easily
- ok the neighborhood have dogs that can bark but you are in the countryside; )
- ok one night was windy, you can close perfectly the curtains and get no wind

Pros:

Tout d'abord le personnel de l'établissement a vraiment été adorables !!!
Que ce soit le responsable, les serveuses ou les autres employés. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux et délicieux !
Un grand merci c'était super !!!
Le seul petit point négatif est l accès a la propriété qui n est vraiment pas simple surtout si l'on doit sortir à pieds pour manger. 😅
Mais le soir suivant ils nous ont fait a manger c'était top.
Je recommande a 100.

Decent stay but can't recommend
Pros:

The resort rooms has a beautiful view and very nice pool. Rooms are decent and justifies a 3 star rating.

Cons:

The road to the resort is really bad and not easy for taxis to reach. Not to mention you cannot call a crab in Munduk, so the owner instead of providing some sort of shuttle service have taken the opportunity to make an alliance with the taxi drivers in the area to charge very high rates to restaurants and any other day tours. Also, the breakfast options are so limited. I had the omlettes and 2 slices of white toast. We had to pay for pancakes extra.

Superb
Pros:

Very peaceful place, really a retreat location. The room was beautiful and spacious and breakfast was great. Loved all the staff

Cons:

Location was very difficult to get to, no taxi would take us there, very remote and hard to get to. Room hadn't been used for a while, so many spider webs and insects around and a frog jumped on my leg during shower, never entered bathroom again

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Camaradvipa Retreat – it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. A special thank you to Purni, who made the most delicious breakfasts each morning – such a lovely way to start the day. And Indra was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, making sure I had everything I needed and felt completely supported.

The hotel itself is surrounded by lush nature, and waking up there felt like a dream. The sounds of the forest, the fresh air, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape in a stunning natural setting with heartfelt hospitality, Camaradvipa is the place to be.

I can’t wait to come back!
