great location, quiet
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this accommodation, and would definately stay again.
Good location, very modern and spacious, and affordable.
Booked the Superior 2 bedroom Apartment this time, and loved the large wrap around balcony.
The price and location was great. The facilities were clean and modern with everything you could want including a washer. The accommodation was also very quiet considering it was right on Goodwood Road.
The only thing I would have liked was some prior notification about having to download the app to gain access to the property. I completed the online check in and I wasnt aware that there was an app to be downloaded to provide you with a digital key, which meant we pulled off Goodwood Road into the driveway to find a gate. So when I went up to the date there was information regarding downloading the app, but whilst I was attempting to do so another customer arrived and needed access to the carpark as well. If I had know I could have been prepared before arrival.

Google maps took you to the incorrect carpark which needed a token to leave. It’s a busy road so difficult to pull over and double check

Comfortable, spacious. Walking distance to dinner options. We only stayed one night but would stay longer if we return to Adelaide.
The check-in procedure. The instructions were unclear for people of our age. We had to ring the offsite reception. The girl stayed on the phone but probably thought it would be an easy process. When you belong to a generation that didn't grow up with technology, younger people get frustrated with our lack of knowledge. It is important for the person on the other end of the phone to step through the instructions clearly. ( The person was not Sylvia. She had been fantastic when I contacted her a couple of times.)
Bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and once i got instructions on the electronic key it was easy from there.
Grow Goodwood is a boutique accomodation provider and there are only 12 rooms in total. There is no way that you could employ a front of house employee to check in and out guests. The App key entry works fine after you get used to it. The room was comfortable and the amenities provided were more than adequate. The location is great with cafes restaurants and shopping opposite. Parking is included and is secure. This is a bonus.
Unfortunately as good as it is I will not stay again. They took payment for the booking 24 hours before the 48 hour period. I was warned but wasn’t happy. No big deal really but when the message came they were going to debit my card $200 as a surety against any issues they feel has occurred during my stay. It would be returned to me after 7 days if they are happy with everything.
They will say many hotels and accomodation providers do this. I can tell you many don’t make a guest feel that they are not trusted. Hotels will take the credit details to charge against any costs incurred after the stay and this is fine but garnering money from guests accounts and holding ransom.
They however refunded the money to my account the same day I checked out. Makes me feel a little better but I hate this practice.

Keyless access with the app was frustrating as it didn’t work every time. Also the car parks are very narrow and tight to get into with a medium sized car
