Loved the funky decor and the fresh, flavourful food available.
Pros:

It was funky in room decor but still very practical and comfortable. It was great having a restaurant in the hotel which provided good quality food.

Cons:

The confusion on the website about shuttle bookings and clarity on how to get to the hotel if not flying in.
The hand basin in the main room. Not having a power point where the kettle was placed.

Pros:

Enjoyed everything about the hotel. Wonderful ambience, so fresh and different from usual mid-range hotel. Staff very obliging and clearly seemed to be happy in their work. Funky, refreshingly different fitted out. Breakfast also up to standard.
Even the resident Mynah bird seemed to be happy!

Cons:

Couldn't fault anything!

Unwelcoming loud and disjointed noise (music) in reception area of hotel.
Pros:

No plastic water bottles in the room but a glass bottle able to be refilled from water station on each floor.
Comfortable beds and pillows

Cons:

The noise in reception is horrific. The bar is just a few feet from reception and the noise was deafening. The reception staff need to yell to be heard and you need to yell back at them to give your information. To make things worse it was DJ night so the music was a jarring mix of disjointed sounds. Really unpleasant especially after a long day of travelling.
The room has the sink to wash your hands after using the toilet in the main bedroom area not the bathroom. You need to clean your teeth in the bedroom area. The power point for the kettle is difficult to find being black in colour on a dark wall under the sink!. No wardrobe to hand clothes but a series of hooks on the wall - a chinese laundry look! The 3 legged table was very unstable and unsuitable for use for anything.
The shuttle bus is not specific to the Moxy, so you join the bus after loading your own bag in the trailer and then wait your turn for drop off at the various hotels of the people on the shuttle bus. It was an un-necessarily long trip from the airport to the hotel.
The air con in the room was questionable if it worked! Previous people who have stayed there have placed toilet paper over the vents to see if the air is circulating! Paying >$200 per night for a room with toilet paper draping from the air con vents is very disappointing.

Fabulous as always
Pros:

Always excellent. Must be the 10th time we've used the Moxy before early flights. Love that you can walk to/from the domestic terminals so easily. Also that they have stay and park deals. Brilliant hotel. Went to breweries in Botany before a lovely simple meal at the Moxy. What's not to like.

Great for a weekend getaway
Pros:

Location would be excellent if en route to the airport or if you had just come from it. We were just staying there to go to a Sydney Swans game and then on to Vivid as we knew it would be a very late night. Was a perfect spot to stay for a night. We would definitely stay again. Our son loved the games downstairs. Coffee at the cafe was great and I even managed to get a gluten free cookie from the cute little supply station cupboard they have at reception with food and helpful bits and pieces. The room was tidy and clean and very functional for the smaller space.

Cons:

There was a little bit of noise through the walls, however you get this at most hotels. And unfortunately we had an early knock on the door from housekeeping for something that was for a different room. It wouldn't matter to people travelling without a car, but as we drove in from outer Sydney, there isn't a parking garage in the building to self park, but valet parking is available. I think the lady at the desk said it was $40? We fortunately managed to find a spot right out front, however it is apparently timed parking during the week. Lucky we were staying over a long weekend.
