Beautiful location and amenities , needs an evening activity for the retreat aspect

The property is incredible absolutely loved the views and the location the room was beautiful no complaints about that . The staff are helpful and friendly .

Cons:

What I didn’t like is I wasn’t given a schedule in advance. If I had known the whole schedule that the whole place closes at 6:30pm I would not have chosen this retreat. No use of the spa or shared spaces . If you come alone prepare to be lonely at night . The dance class also was not what I was expecting. I really wanted to lose myself in dance and it was very basic and not a joyful experience.

The unit was very clean & comfortable, rooms were huge.
Amazing location great views.
The staff were very helpful all our requests were accommodated with a smile.

Cons:

I understood that there wouldn't be cooking facilities, however some platters, glassware etc would be useful.
We had a lovely day out visiting some cheese & wineries- bought some back & had nothing to serve up with. Even some chopping boards - could showcase local products would be useful

Relaxing, with a gorgeous view!
Pros:

Best view in the Hunter Valley! The units are large and comfortable and also have great views from the living areas. The sunrise is gorgeous. I didn't bring my swimmers but should have as I wanted to try the cold plunge.

Cons:

Would have been nice to have cards or games available, but I was told that they were all stolen! So I understand. Maybe a set that is Elysia or Minor branded would be great as a souvenir?

I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay.

Firstly, staff appeared unaware of the Taste of Elysia experience that was included with my booking, which created confusion throughout my visit. I was also promised a voucher as part of the package, but this was never provided.

Additionally, both the ice bath and steam rooms were out of order during my stay, which was disappointing as these facilities were one of the main reasons I chose the resort.

When I enquired about using the pickleball court, I was repeatedly referred to different staff members and was unable to get a clear answer or any assistance.

I also experienced issues with the wellness classes. Despite having booked the classes in advance, I felt I had to repeatedly assure staff that I had valid bookings. This was frustrating and made the process unnecessarily difficult. When my girlfriend and I finally attended the class, we felt somewhat outcast and unwelcome, which detracted from what should have been an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations set by the package, facilities, and service that were advertised. I hope this feedback can be used to improve the experience for future guests, and I would appreciate a response regarding the concerns raised above.

The perfect spot for a relaxing stay to unwind and do conference calls.
Pros:

Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Loved the deep bath and balcony area to admire the view and kangaroos. Study table/nook was handy for husband to work and do conference calls. The breakfast is abundant and healthy with a lovely view. A great start to the day.

Cons:

Rooms didn't have instructions on how to use the coffee pod machine and we didn't know what colour pod produced which result. Would've liked a bit of tea variety. eg. Earl Grey, green or peppermint tea. Bed was a bit too firm for me. In the bathroom, would've liked cotton buds/pad as other places provide; also access to bath salts/foam/soap in bath area.

Pros:

the location was superb, on top of a hill so you had a 360 degrees view into the valley. very quiet surrounded by nature and all its sounds. great waking up with a sunset and coffee on the balcony with the kangaroos jumping by. Good included spa amenities. short 15 minutes walk down the hill to the next resort to have dinner next to a small lake.
