Pros:

Завтраки очень хорошие! Расположение отеля отличное! Мебель немного требует ухода, не хватало зеркала в номере и еще одного стула. Номера обновлять надо. Персонал отличный, очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый! Рекомендую всем!

Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthalts nur sehr wenig Positives. Die gravierenden Sicherheits- und Sauberkeitsmängel haben mögliche positive Aspekte vollständig überschattet.

Cons:

Besonders problematisch war für uns die Sicherheit der Zimmertüren. Diese wirkten nicht ausreichend gesichert und konnten offenbar durch Manipulation am Türspalt geöffnet werden. Da wir mit Kindern gereist sind, haben wir uns dadurch sehr unwohl und nicht sicher gefühlt.

Auch die Sauberkeit war mangelhaft: Die Bettwäsche war sichtbar verschmutzt, Handtücher waren teilweise stark beschädigt und hatten große Löcher, außerdem gab es in manchen Zimmern Mücken. Bereits beim Check-in fanden wir es ungewöhnlich, dass wir ausdrücklich aufgefordert wurden, uns das Zimmer zunächst anzusehen.

Aufgrund der Sicherheitsbedenken entschieden wir uns, den Aufenthalt vorzeitig abzubrechen. Obwohl wir die Gründe klar erklärt haben, mussten wir nachts etwa zwei Stunden mit einem Mitarbeiter diskutieren und verhandeln. Am Ende mussten wir für die nicht mehr genutzten Nächte nichts bezahlen. Die Situation war dennoch sehr belastend, vor allem für unsere Kinder, die sich dabei sehr unwohl fühlten.

Leider können wir unseren Aufenthalt kaum positiv bewerten. Einzelne Aspekte des Hotels treten für uns vollständig hinter den erheblichen Sicherheits-, Sauberkeits- und Lärmproblemen zurück.

Cons:

Wir waren zunächst zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel. Am dritten Tag kam der restliche Teil unserer Reisegruppe hinzu, und dabei wurden uns erhebliche Sicherheitsmängel bewusst. Besonders problematisch war, dass sich Zimmertüren offenbar ohne die dafür vorgesehene Zimmerkarte öffnen ließen. Da wir mit drei kleinen Kindern gereist sind und diese teilweise in einem separaten Zimmer untergebracht waren, war diese Situation für uns absolut nicht akzeptabel. Unter solchen Umständen konnten und wollten wir nicht weiter in diesem Hotel bleiben.

Zusätzlich war die Sauberkeit mangelhaft. Bettwäsche war verschmutzt, Handtücher waren teilweise stark beschädigt und hatten große Löcher, und in einigen Zimmern gab es Mücken. Hinzu kam eine erhebliche Lärmbelastung, da sich das Hotel mitten in einer sehr lauten Partygegend befindet. Selbst Ohrstöpsel konnten uns vom Hotel nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Besonders negativ war jedoch der Umgang mit unserer vorzeitigen Abreise. Obwohl wir die Sicherheitsprobleme klar angesprochen und erklärt hatten, warum wir mit unseren Kindern nicht bleiben konnten, wurden wir spät in der Nacht dazu gedrängt, auch eine weitere Nacht zu bezahlen. Als ich erklärte, dass ich eine Zahlung nur gegen eine ordnungsgemäße Rechnung leisten würde, wurde mir sogar mit der Polizei gedroht. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war es bereits nach Mitternacht und unsere drei Kinder waren völlig aufgelöst und weinten. Dass eine Familie unter solchen Umständen noch über einen langen Zeitraum diskutieren und verhandeln muss, empfanden wir als äußerst unangemessen.

Die Sicherheitsmängel waren aus unserer Sicht so gravierend, dass wir angekündigt haben, die zuständigen Stellen sowie die entsprechenden Botschaften und das Auswärtige Amt darüber zu informieren. Für uns war ein weiterer Aufenthalt unter diesen Umständen nicht tragbar.

Decent price in a fun location
Pros:

The staff is nice and professional. The pool is small like at every hotel, but nice and quiet. The bed was really comfy. No bar, but bring a can of beer and you're fine.

Cons:

The room was clean but a little old. The balcony wasn't really a balcony you could go out and sit on, but the view was okay. The whole neighborhood is extremely noisy but earplugs definitely help if you'rea sensitive sleeper.

The cleaning wasn’t great. I really don’t think the floors were washed the whole fortnight we were there. Also the breakfast isn’t great. We ate out most mornings

Excellent emplacement, beau séjour
Pros:

Excellent emplacement, à moins de 5 minutes à pied de la plage, quartier plein de restaurants, de salons de massage, de cafés. Central en termes des commerces. La piscine sur le toit de l'hôtel est petite mais agréable. Très bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de spécialités vietnamiennes.

Cons:

Mobilier et douche un peu vieillissant.

Amazing staff and excellent location
Pros:

Location is very close to beach, you can walk there.
Numerous food options steps away
Breakfast was huge spread and covers almost everything one would want to start the day
Fruits, Eggs, Noodles, Cereals etc
Staff is the most amazing people in the hospitality I have ever seen. They work tirelessly and are ready to help for anything you need.

I am grateful for their service. Would definitely stay and recommend this place

A Picture Tells a Thousand Words

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Palazzo Boutique Hotel Da Nang. The location is absolutely spot on — just a short walk to the beach, with restaurants, spas, street stalls, shopping and nightlife literally right outside the door. It was such a fun, easy and vibrant area to stay, and we felt very safe. As Australians, we loved the atmosphere and it reminded us a little of the Byron Bay culture of years ago.

The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. A special mention must go to the gentleman who helped with our luggage and opened the door for us every day with the most beautiful smile. His warmth and kindness really stood out.

The breakfasts were good, but the Banh Hue and pho were genuinely outstanding. We were surprised by the depth of flavour coming from a hotel kitchen rather than a little restaurant or street stall. They were some of the best dishes we had during our stay.

And then there is the view from the pool. This really is spectacular. We spent an evening enjoying a beer while looking out over Da Nang, and it was beautiful. We could see the rooftop bars, the lights stretching along the streets, the city skyline, the ocean and even the lights of boats out at sea. It was a wonderful place to sit in the evening and take it all in. The glass around the pool was a little dirty, but a quick splash of water and the view was breathtaking.

That said, I do think future guests should be aware that the hotel isn’t quite as spectacular as the photographs online, particularly on Booking.com, may lead you to believe.

The pool itself is quite dated and the pool area is fairly plain. Interestingly, the online photographs focus heavily on the view rather than showing the actual pool area closely.

We also felt that some of the room photographs were quite heavily edited.
