The room was very comfortable and front desk staff were very helpful. Night staff also came outside to see me into my taxi at 3am which was a nice touch as a solo female traveller.
The tap doesn’t really run cold so not possible to get cold water unless you ask for ice downstairs. I was also not given any body towels - after housekeeping cleaned my room nothing was restocked (tea, coffee, milk). Nor were I then provided towels. I had to ask for these again.

Hotel is lovely in terms of decor and has potential to be fantastic. Just lacks some cleanliness on the terrace which was covered with bird poo.
Check in process was a long wait - 1hr 10 mins after arrival we got checked into our room due to a maintenance issue we were not told about.

We could not find anything we liked in this hotel, perhaps the cleaning service was a he only good
We experienced very inconsistent service during our stay.
Many of the reception staff did not speak English, making it extremely difficult to communicate or even order food.
The restaurant experience was particularly disappointing. On several occasions we were told there were no children’s options available and that they couldn’t even prepare a simple bowl of plain cooked pasta. Another day we were told the entire hotel had run out of both rice and salad, so they couldn’t make a basic meal. On a different occasion, they agreed to cook chicken and pasta for my child but refused to prepare the same meal for me, saying they didn’t have enough ingredients. When the food arrived, the chicken was dry and overcooked. Staff also frequently forgot parts of our orders. For example, we were offered bread and butter with lunch, but it only arrived after we had already finished eating.
The breakfast buffet was equally disappointing. There was consistently not enough food available, and we repeatedly had to ask for basic items. The scrambled eggs left in the serving dish were usually dry and there wasn’t enough for everyone, so we had to request a fresh batch. The cucumber slices were often dried out, tomatoes were unavailable unless we specifically asked for them, and there were only a few slices of cheese and ham, which were rarely replenished unless guests requested them.
Overall, the service lacked consistency, organisation, and attention to guests. While some staff members tried to help, the overall experience fell well below the standard we would expect from a hotel of this category.
I want to add that the housekeeping staff were kind, hardworking, and took good care of us. They were one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the overall standard of the hotel, particularly the management, restaurant service, food organisation, and maintenance, did not justify either the four-star rating or the price we paid.

This is actually the best hotel I've ever stayed at! The staff is so nice and if you have questions they will answer everything politely. The hotel was so clean and they cleaned our room everyday. We stayed here for a whole week and our room was just a dream. Great! You also get free water everyday and can watch TV.
The uphill way to the hotel after a long day (we were mostly walking) was always a bit annoying but this is not at all the hotels fault. Honestly I do not have anything to complain about at all!
It is quick to find, the staff was very welcoming and it was close to everything.

That they charge for parking. If the hotel has a private parking then I don’t think they should charge for guests because they are already paying for it.
The staff were brilliant with a special mention for Manuel on reception who was a mine of information.
The garden was also brilliant relaxing for a drink,a meal or just to read a book.
There was only one thing they kept moving the bar and restaurant from this hotel to the adjoining one. Which was an old art school. Nice place but not as nice as the garden.
