Everything was perfect!
Very comfy hotel. The bar and restaurant are probably good, but they need some marketing since both were quite empty and therefore not very inviting. Super indoor swimming pool.
The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, not very vivid. The sauna was not heated in the morning, but it looked very attractive.

The staff were very welcoming and extremely generous with their time when we asked for sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The hotel itself is lovely and quiet - a nice place to return to after a day of exploring the bustling city. The breakfast was exceptional and the spa impeccable, both in terms of service and facilities.
The floor of the bathroom and shower are a very slippery marble. It would be good to install an anti-slip mat or something similar to make it safer.

Pillows were a little uncomfortable but I am sure if we had of asked to have them changed, they would’ve been. All staff at the hotel were very attentive.

O tamanho da piscina e o tratamento que fiz. A massagem foi muito bem feita.
A experiência foi dececionante. O hotel apresenta-se como um 5 estrelas, com os selos 'Small Luxury Hotels' e 'Condé Nast Johansens', mas está muito longe do que esses certificados prometem. Os materiais utilizados são industriais e sintéticos, e há um excesso de decoração que mais parece cenário do que conforto. Falta-lhe alma e espaços comuns verdadeiramente acolhedores.
As únicas áreas comuns disponíveis são o terraço — que fica encerrado à noite ou em dias de chuva — e o bar do lobby. Não há um único espaço onde se possa estar sentado, com música ambiente e tranquilidade, durante todo o dia.
O hotel tem muito pouca luz natural, compensando com luz artificial, espelhos e elementos decorativos em abundância. Em vez de acrescentarem conforto ou elegância, estes artifícios acabam por cansar visualmente e transmitir uma sensação fria e artificial.
Até os produtos de casa de banho (Ach. Brito) são uma marca portuguesa corrente, que se encontra em qualquer drogaria ou supermercado — um pormenor que, juntando-se ao resto, reforça a sensação de que o luxo é apenas fachada.
Pontos positivos: os funcionários são simpáticos e atentos, e o hotel está limpo. O pequeno-almoço tem produtos de qualidade, mas não surpreende — poderia facilmente ser o de qualquer bom 4 estrelas. Nada que justifique o preço praticado ou a classificação prometida. Palácio Estoril ou o Casa da Companhia sim, são um 5 estrelas, apesar de em estilos muitos distintos. Este, infelizmente, é apenas um cenário bem montado.
