Very happy with this hotel, the rooms and hotel in general was all very clean and modern. Staff were great and the facilities of the pool is really good!
The rooms are fairly small but you get that in a city and also I always take note of the room size before booking.
Zero complaints with the price I paid with what I got

Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is well located in the city centre for all the attractions but is also peaceful and relaxing. Our room had plenty of space for us and we also had a good sized balcony which was a bonus. The balcony overlooked the pool area and was a shady retreat as it did not get the sun at all.

The pool is more of a dipping pool than a swimming pool as it is small. There are a small number of loungers and deck chairs but it's not huge. Very welcome as a cooling off place though.

We had drinks in the bar and a few snacks, it is a pleasant pleasant bar with a nice outdoor terrace area.

All the staff at the hotel were superb. Very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend staying here and would visit again.

We visited for three nights in early July 2026 and very pleased with our choice of hotel. The Arts Hotel is located just a short distance from the bustling centre of Porto yet in an area that is quiet enough to relax. Its very stylish and funky. The rooms are clean and tidy and the bed we had in room 311 was very comfortable. All the staff we encountered during our stay were very helpful and pleasant which helped make our time here all the more enjoyable.

We stayed at the Arts Hotel on two separate occasions over a two week period covering the start and end to our Camino Portuguese pilgrimage, with the location being ideal for our requirements.
Check-in on both occasions was smooth and efficient with the front office team being extremely friendly and welcoming.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the in-room coffee machine was very welcome as this was the only hotel on our entire two week trip that provided this.
We thought the Arts Hotel provided good value for money, we would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Porto and highly recommend to friends and family.

Arts Hotel gad a lovely bar, with good wine and great choice of drinks. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but very functional. It was in a very quiet area, so had no problem sleeping, and had lots of cafes to get coffee and breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk into Porto, uphill to come back, great for fitness levels.

The hotel’s location is very central and convenient, but what truly stood out to me was the exceptional hospitality. The staff is incredibly proactive, friendly, detail-oriented, and genuinely focused on ensuring a great guest experience. They consistently go above and beyond to make every stay comfortable and memorable.
This was the last hotel I stayed at during my trip to Portugal, and it provided the best service I experienced throughout my journey. The team truly makes all the difference, and their dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
