Pros:

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! It’s a beautiful historic place with a very special atmosphere. There are so many lovely areas around the hotel to enjoy: the restaurant, reception, entrance, terrace and swimming pool. I also really enjoyed spending an evening in the sauna.

Cons:

Some details that could be improved for even better experience:
1) Room cleaning could be better. Under our bed, we found a pair of Havaianas that had clearly been left by a previous guest, as well as a hotel slipper 😁
2) The quality of the body lotion is very low, it was very liquid and didn’t moisturize the skin at all. I was also quite surprised that a hotel of this standard provides a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. Luckily, I had brought my own; otherwise, this would have been quite disappointing.

Beautiful hotel very relaxing.
Pros:

Loved the renovated building surrounding spaces were fantastic Attentive and helpful staff at reception and porter/concierge. Room was large and spacious and very well maintained

Cons:

Service at the outdoor bar was below average. Only exception was first night of stay 9 August by another staff member which was great.

Pros:

Schönes Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten, jedoch etwas dunkel. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Im Garten/ am Pool läuft den ganzen Tag Musik, die wie der Soundtrack von Bridgerton klingt. Leider auch durchgehend in der 2. Nacht, was schon etwas nervig war.

100% recommend and will be back to stay again!
Pros:

This has been my favourite hotel stay in a very long time. We booked the suite as the terrace looked perfect to sunbathe in the daytime, it catches the sun all day long. The staff were amazing, so attentive the whole stay and made sure we had everything we needed! The facilities and grounds of the hotel were perfectly kept.

Cons:

Everything was absolutely perfect.

Pros:

Breakfast buffet selection was ample and of great quality, especially the pastries, and the dining room was classic architecture and beautiful.

Convenient parking right next door (but pricey at 18Euros/day and limited spaces, so get there early if you need parking!).

Pool facility and gym were nice.

Cons:

We stayed in building 3 on level 0, convoluted and confusing to find your way around, especially gym and between the levels, but just a minor thing.

Not enough space around the pool with just a limited number of lounges, a bit unusual for such a relatively large hotel. Just a minor thing, as our room was on ground floor near the pool.

Cozy hotel in Porto
Pros:

- Beautiful and comfortable rooms with fresh, modern renovations
- The hotel building itself looks amazing, with beautiful internal territory
- The breakfast is quite varied and tasty, and is served in a very beautiful dining room
- Excellent location on a quiet street, while still being within easy reach of the main tourist zones

Cons:

- The bathroom fixtures could use some updating, although the bathroom itself is nice

Eine schöne, nicht in Stand gehaltene Anlage mit einer top Lage mit unprofessionellem Personal

Die Lage ist perfekt um die Altstadt zu erkunden

Cons:

Eine eigentlich sehr schön restaurierte Anlage, die allerdings nicht gut in Stand gehalten wird z.B. total verdreckter Teppich auf dem Etagenflur, dreckige Aufzugtür, vom Wischwasser kaputte Türkanten. Das Personal war nicht einem solchen Sternehotel entsprechend professionell z.B. keine adäquate Begrüßung und Verabschiedung, im wunderschönen Speisesaal wurde während des Frühstücks schon für das Mittagessen in einer sehr störenden Lautstärke gedeckt, an der Rezeption wird von der einen Mitarbeiterin behauptet das man keine Postkarte annehme und auch nicht wisse wo es en Briefkasten gebe dann mischt sich eine andere Mitarbeiterin ein und sagt man nehme Postkarten doch an und diskutieren im Anschluss beide darüber. Die Parkmöglichkeit auf die im Hof Internet hingewiesen wird ist der Innenhof einer heruntergekommenen angrenzenden Autowerkstatt. Dafür zahlt man täglich 18 Euro!
