Pros:

Eccellente colazione e ristorante in salone affrescato e accogliente. Camere pulite, letto molto comodo

belle expérience mise à part le petit déjeuner.
Pros:

Belle chambre, grande, bien équipée et calme (vue jardin).
Belles terrasses et beau Bar.
Salle du petit déjeuner très jolie, mais sous exploitée pour un hôtel de ce standing.

Cons:

L'offre et la qualité des produits pour le petit déjeuner étaient en dessous de tout! Surtout pour un prix de 20€ pp.....
Les viennoiseries n'étaient pas bien cuits, les oeufs brouillés baignaient dans du liquide, les fromages étaient collants et trop froids, le pain n'était pas très bon, bref, bcp d'améliorations à faire ! Vraiment dommage, pleins d'endroits TOP dans le quartier que nous avons découverts. Très bon boulanger à 200m en plus!
Le manque de service et surveillance près de la piscine, bcp de personnes allaient acheter des boissons et nourriture au supermarché tout près, hors il est interdit de consommer autour de la piscine. Une offre boissons/plats light pourrait être proposée à la terrasse à côté de la piscine. Mieux communiquer sur les possibilités svp.

The team, the cleanings, and above all, the great location.

Cons:

Our room was right at the pool, so we didn't have much privacy, but I'm quite sure they would replace it, if we've asked. (We were out most of the day, so it did not bother us.

Desayuno fantástico. La ubicación bien, no está tan cerca de los sitios de interés.

A splendid hotel to make you feel spoilt in Porto.
Pros:

Staying in a former Presidential Palace sounds like a treat - and it was. The grandest room for breakfast you will have ever experienced. We stayed in one of new rooms which was fine and well appointed with a good shower.
Good location generally but a good 30 min walk to the Douro river down the hill.
The pool looked fantastic albeit slightly on view for passers by.

Cons:

We couldn't get an evening meal when we arrived because there was a function on.

Could be perfect but lack of sunbeds & comfortable outside seating spoiled the experience
Pros:

Lovely room; great breakfast; overall building & grounds delightful; secure & accessible car parking

Cons:

Far too few sunbeds or garden seating even though there was plenty of space. Eight sunbeds for a hotel of this room capacity is ridiculous and seems to suggest a style over function attitude by the original planners - needs a total rethink
