Pros:

Beautiful property and wonderful staff. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. Pools were great, beach area was brilliant and the service was outstanding. Bikes are available at the hotel, restaurant is a great place to dine at anytime. Spa is wonderful and a great place to treat yourself. We were sad to leave and will definitely coming back in 2027.

Shower Hose Malfunction, But Extremely Disappointed by their response
Cons:

I was very disappointed with the hotel’s handling of our room issue and the lack of an appropriate resolution or compensation.

The water pressure from the shower hose was extremely weak, so we requested a room change. However, we were told that a room change was not possible because there were no available rooms. Several staff members then came to our room to carry out repairs
While the repair was in progress, we had to continue waiting. As this caused considerable inconvenience, we requested a room change again, but were told to wait because the repair was almost finished.
Although the water pressure improved slightly after the repair, it still did not return to a normal level. We paid the same rate as other guests, yet we experienced significant inconvenience during our stay. Despite this, we were not offered any compensation or alternative solution, other than a verbal apology.

It’s true that the staff were kind throughout the process, but I believe the situation could have been handled much more appropriately, especially considering the inconvenience we experienced and the fact that the issue was not fully resolved.

One of my favourites places to stay , would love to go back .

A true five-star experience in Gili Trawangan
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Pearl Sunset Resort and were genuinely impressed by the level of hospitality throughout our stay.

The entire team deserves a special mention. From reception to the beach and pool staff, restaurant team and room service, everyone was consistently smiling, kind, attentive and incredibly helpful. A very special thank you to Juni, who looked after us every morning at breakfast and made our mornings even more enjoyable with her kindness and warm smile.

The rooms are spacious, very clean and offer a good level of privacy. Housekeeping was excellent, with our room perfectly cleaned every day.

The location is another major advantage. Being on the sunset side of Gili T means you are away from the much busier backpacker and nightlife area on the eastern side of the island, while enjoying a much more relaxed atmosphere and absolutely beautiful sunsets.

Food and drinks were also consistently excellent throughout our stay.

What really made the difference, however, was the people. Beautiful surroundings are important, but genuine hospitality is what turns a good hotel into a memorable experience, and the team at Pearl Sunset certainly achieved that.

A true five-star stay and a place we would happily return to.

Das Pearl Sunset Resort bietet Entspannung pur. Die Anlage und der Hotelpool sind sehr schön gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und verfügen über einen grossen Balkon.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: Von A bis Z waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und ausserordentlich freundlich. An unserem Hochzeitstag wurde ein Tisch im Restaurant am Strand liebevoll dekoriert – herzlichen Dank für diese schöne Geste.

Das Frühstück war, obwohl es kein Buffet gab, eines der besten auf unserer dreiwöchigen Indonesien-Reise. Alle Zutaten waren frisch und wurden schön angerichtet serviert.

Wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Cons:

Das Schwimmen im Meer ist nur sehr eingeschränkt und lediglich bei Flut möglich. Das war uns jedoch bereits im Voraus bekannt.

Dafür wird man auf der Westseite von Gili T mit den schönsten Sonnenuntergängen verwöhnt. Wer zu den Schnorchelplätzen auf der Ostseite gelangen möchte, sollte am besten ein Fahrrad im Hotel mieten (IDR 75'000 pro Tag). Die Fahrt dorthin – quer durch die Insel – dauert nur etwa 10 Minuten.

Buen hotel con desayuno muy bueno y personal excepcional.

El diseño y la amabilidad del personal.

Cons:

Que bajas del Ferry y hay una multitud sin control, que van a la caza de un caballo con carruaje, para trasladarse al hotel. Debería tener el hotel facilidades para recoger y llevar a sus clientes a puerto.

Pearl Sunset Resort was a lovely place to stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful- they arranged some of our activities for us at a very good price.
The breakfast was excellent, with many options.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely stay there again.
