We loved our time at AmaLusa Alfama and would happily return if we make it back to Lisbon!

Great stay, really lovely design. Clean. Great food at the restaurant when it was open. Very friendly staff. Excellent location in alfama, surrounded by cafes spilling out onto cobblestone streets 😍

Pros:

Personeel was super vriendelijk. Ze hielpen ons waar nodig en een mooie kamer. Ook de locatie van het hotel was goed. Het is centraal gelegen waardoor je makkelijk bij alle bezienswaardigheden terecht komt.

Cons:

Er waren geen gordijnen op de badkamer en onze kamer was naar de straatkant gericht waardoor de badkamer gebruiken toch een kleine uitdaging was. Het voordeel was dan wel dat er veel natuurlijk licht aanwezig was in de kamer.

Het late inchecken… 15.00u!
Vroeger uitschenken (bv10.00u) zou beter zijn en dan kan er ook vroeger inchecken… als je van ver komt is het leuk je al even op je kamer te kunnen verfrissen.

L’emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel, la vue depuis ma chambre, la propreté, le confort.

Le fait de devoir à chaque fois laisser la clé à la réception.
Très petit.
Fer à repasser en mauvais état.
Il y a beaucoup de dealers autour de l’hôtel.

It was good.
Pros:

Well located

Cons:

The housekeeper came in to my room and pull the covers from above my head thinking I was not there. Left and slammed the door behind her. She woke me up because she pulled my hair by accident. She left the room without apologizing. I thought it was a ghost but I asked told the front desk guy who said it was the housekeeper who’s done that by accident while I was taking a nap. Scared the hell out of me!
