Palette Signature Hotel

- We were put in one of the interconnecting rooms and our neighbour was extremely loud every night until 1am, their alarms would go off at 5am, 5:10am, 5:15am maybe to pray. We could hear everything from the room next door, even the sound of them opening a packet of chips.
- Bed sheets had stains
- Towels had multiple rips, dated and not white anymore
- Restaurant, bar was closed our whole stay so the front of the hotel is extremely dark with no lights
- Lock was broken (room 312)
- Safe is not secured, so not sure what the point is
- Staff were very friendly but doesn’t speak much English

I have stayed here a couple of years ago and it was disappointing to see how run down the place has become since. Both the external of the building and inside the rooms need attention. We booked a Pool View room, the room was tiny, sheets had marks on them, fridge didn't work. Bathroom was dirty and shower fixtures partially broken. We were only given 2 bath towels, no hand towels or face washers. The chair in the room was unsafe due to loose legs, the drawer in the desk had cigarette ash, the pool was green. The fridge was barely cold and when asked about it we were told all the fridges in the rooms aren't working. We felt dirty just being in the room so checked out early and stayed elsewhere which was much nicer and cleaner.

Our room was messy, our aircon didn't work. It was extremely hot.

We kwamen 's avonds aan en hadden 2 double kamers geboekt, maar het bleek "overbooked". Tja, kan gebeuren. Alleen we kregen in plaats hiervan een "2 BRvilla", maar de naam doet t zeker geen eer aan. Het leek meer op 1 muffe kamer met twee 2-pers bedden erin, waarin de gordijnen half los hingen en niet goed dichtkonden, de schimmel op plafonds zat, en de mdw aan de balie bleef maar klagen hoe druk hij het had. We moesten wel voor de 2 kamers betalen en de dag erna weer verhuizen naar 2 losse kamers.

Toilet did not work fridges don’t work no hot water no ice available was a wonderful hotel 10 yrs ago but very run down now no money has been spent on up keep pool is leaking tiles falling off pool deck broken outside gardens average such a shame to have had this experience

Accommodation need a LOT of mainteneace. I think it is still recovering from COVID. My Aircon wasn't working in my initial room. Then they tried to move me into a room with 2 single beds, against my wishes. 3rd room. Even the reception had issues unlocking the door. Bathroom needed LOTS of maintenance. Propery overall was presented in a "reasonable" condition. But, does need "LOTS" of maintenace in the sleeping areas

Rooms do not have a refrigerator only what looks like a wine cooler that doesn’t cool, but to be fair other hotels in Bali have bought these even five star, none have worked that I have experienced. On Booking.com it stated that the room package I had purchased came with early check I. And late check out, the hotel did not honour this.

Hotel cancelled the stay and tried to blame us that we cancelled ourselves. We only found out about this on our arrival to the reception...There were 4 adults with 5 children and we were left on our own to look for another hotel as allegedly it was fully booked and they could not help us at all. No one could explain who made the cancellation - at first it was us to be blamed, then booking.com and eventually some unexplainable system error. Hotel staff were quite opposite to Balinese people - there was no understanding, no effort to resolve the issue, no one cared about us at all. Thankfully we found another hotel not so far away from this and upon check-in we told hotel staff what has happened. The other hotel staff told us we are not the first ones that this happened to as they heard quite a few stories from others too and Palette Signature Hotel actually changed their name recently too. I would advise not to risk it and avoid booking with this hotel. Also, whilst arguiing with the reception, some of us looked around the hotel and it turns out that it was not in such a good state as the pictures suggest. Swimming pool is tiny, some places in the hotel in a need of renovation too. If travelling with family, better look for another place.
