Clean, good location, and good value.
Great hotel with clean rooms, cool AC, and an excellent price. The kids loved the pool, and the location was very convenient… close to the highway and Win Mart. Would stay here again!
We booked Thuan Hue for two nights because we were visiting VinWonders Hoi An with the kids. The hotel is only a two minutes’ ride to the theme park.
As a general starting comment, we were disappointed by our stay and are astonished by the high ratings.
PROS:
- Exceptional value
- Impossibly fast-drying tiles in the bathroom
- Staff was friendly and made an effort to answer all our questions using translations apps
CONS:
- All pictures were taken with wide-angle lens (making rooms appear much bigger than they are); it’s not deception as square footage of rooms is clearly disclosed but just manage your expectations when you open the door
- All pictures are AI-enhanced; for instance, the promotional pictures have large palm trees in front of the hotel, giving a “resort feel”. In reality, the palm trees are barely taller than a human and there is no open space in front of the hotel as the neighboring property is only a few meters away. Female staff in photos were likely models hired for promotional purposes
- Lobby has no air-conditioning (or they didn’t turn it on in April)
- Lobby “freezer” that sells ice cream is not cold enough; do not buy ice cream from hotel; go across the street to convenience store instead
- Towels were gross and looked ratty, even though hotel is relatively new
- The general state of room was not clean (again, despite the beautiful photos); when we wiped the shelves, the floor, even inside of desk drawer, there was a layer of black dust. We don’t expect laboratory-clean conditions when travelling, but this level of uncleanliness is also not acceptable
- There were ants in our room and a few even got into the bed. The hotel did offer to “use spray” to get rid of them for us but I didn’t want my kids breathing in the fumes or coming in contact with chemicals
Final comments: you get what you pay for. Hotel offers bang-for-the-buck but don’t expect a “miracle” deal. There is no miracle and we would not stay here again.

Was easy to get to and had amenities as needed. Staff where also great
Needs a bit of a clean. Not much just a bit to bring it up to standard
the hotel is new. the room was spacious. they had a good amount of hot water for 3 tired people.
the location - it is surrounded by cemeteries. There is only one good local restaurant nearby. we had a quadruple room with only one chair inside. the staff doesn't speak English. the swimming pool is rather a pond by the road. the beds were tough. not enough sockets (only 1 per bed). there wasn't anybody at the reception desk since 8 PM. I had no idea how to find any assistance in case of an emergency.
Beste ontbijt dat we de laatste weken in de Vietnamese hotels hebben gehad. Buffet met ook voldoende Europesche keuzes. Kamer is niet zo groot maar heel efficient ingericht. Toppunt is toch wel dat je vanuit je bed over de stad uitkijkt.
Geen waterkoker en receptie is op de zesde verdieping in een groot gebouw, dat is even zoeken.
