Struttura molto bella, pulita, personale amichevole.

We actually stayed at Chum Boutique twice during our Vietnam trip - once on the way down the coast from Hanoi to Hoi An, and then again after returning from our Phong Nha trek the night before flying to HCMC. Both stays were excellent.
The location is amazing - only about a 5-minute walk to the river and markets, or even quicker by Grab or electric scooter. It felt close to everything including the Imperial city, while still being quiet and relaxing.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful with polished concrete finishes, velvety curtains, a stunning clawfoot bathtub, and separate toilet and shower areas - and if you’ve been travelling around Vietnam for a while, you know what a luxury that is!
The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. They also gave us some fantastic food and activity recommendations during our stays.
Thank you for such an amazing experience both times. We would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Hue.

No fridge in the room
Location was perfect. We stayed in the Superior room for the first night & the room was super spacious.
The bathroom in the superior room was roomy, then we stayed in the twin share for the 2nd night & there was very little space - it was a little too exposed for my comfort. But each to their own.

Great location nearby the river with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. The room itself was really great and very clean. The air conditioning was like western standards and the decor was nice. We loved the tub and I got some of the best sleep of the trip here.
Small things, but we were out of hand soap and the faucet was not properly attached to the sink which made it a little more difficult to operate.

Great location
Dark and dreary rooms. Found blood droplet stains on the sheet.
So chic and roomy. The room appointments were so elegant and artistic. And importantly, the air conditioning was excellent.
No elevator (but good exercise)
Good location (walking distance to main attractions), friendly staff, clean. We arrived very early and room wasn’t ready yet, but we were still offered to drop our luggage and even to take a shower!
Our balcony was “city view”, but that just meant one house opposite us and the garbage covered roof of another one, not even a street.

It lacked amenities, no lift, no phone in rooms, very little storage for clothes. It wasn’t exactly dirty but it wasn’t clean either best to describe it as dusty. Lots of mosquitoes

Nice deco, close to the river . No restaurant, no outside place/terrace in the hotel. It is comfortable for sleeping, a good base.
Comfortabel en gezellig boutique hotel. Kwamen vroeg aan vanuit de nachttrein en konden lekker alvast opfrissen en onze bagage laten staan. Kregen seintje wanneer de kamer klaar was. Verder prima locatie dichtbij de parfumrivier , een bruisende plek in Hue
