Unfortunately, no luxury here.

It was a short distance from the airport.

Cons:

The ‘Executive Suite’ was one large room and a bathroom. The beds were very hard and the pillows fat and hard. The carpets were worn and had a couple of cigarette burns. The safe was not fixed to anything and had a generic combination. The bathroom had a shower over the bath with no screen and no safety mat and it took 10 minutes of running taps before hot water arrived. The balcony was a large bare area with flakes of paint on it and looked as if we weren’t expected to use it. Breakfast was well prepared but didn’t include choices (perhaps bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages) that we would’ve expected of a ‘luxury’ hotel. The general state of the building was poor. There were cracks in the render, poorly repaired silicon seals around doors and windows and moss on the walls in the stairwell leading to the pool. I really hate being so negative but this was a bit of a shock. Positives: The air con was efficient, the toothbrushes were nice and they have a great security guard who handles luggage and fixes problems.

Just ok for 1 night
Pros:

The security guard was very helpful with our bags.

Cons:

We asked for two rooms close together and ended up with one on 2nd floor and one on 10th - not a major issue, but inconvenient.

The room on 2nd floor smelt like cigarettes.

The breakfast largely catered for their Chinese clients.

The bed was too firm.

Disappointing for a 4 star hotel
Pros:

The location close to the airport. The foyer is beautiful and staff are very helpful with assisting with rooms and taxi’s. It’s very quiet, we didn’t hear any planes, considering it is so close to the airport. The rooms are big, and also the bathroom is big.

Cons:

Apart from the foyer, this is lacking what a 4 star hotel should be. The rooms have mould, the beds are very hard and there were stains in the carpet. The information folders and bathroom displays are all worn and look stained. The towels were frayed, which would be expected in a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel. There is no bath and the swimming pool is closed at 8pm. We were desperate for a quick swim when we arrived at 8.30pm but couldn’t. For a 4 star hotel, the breakfast is very limited, only Asian food and no fruit juice. Limited fresh fruit and the fried rice and noodles were nearly cold.
For a 4 star close the the airport, you would expect a wider choice, such as pastries, some deli meats and cheese. We have had better breakfast at several 3 star hotels.

Sehr gutes Hotel für ein oder zwei Übernachtungen!
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel ganz in der Nähe vom Flughafen an einer belebten Straße .Es gibt einen kleinen Pool auf dem Dachgeschoss, den man meist für sich alleine hat. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich.
