Great property and location

I was searching some place that was not that busy as the center of old quarter but not that far as well. There is no such option. So location was great.

Breakfast great. The room is large with a small balcony which I loved to drink coffee at 5 am wathing local people starting daily

Some people complaned about street sounds during the night but It is the price you pay to be walking distance from everything.

Staff is amazing indeed

Odlična lokacija, izjemno prijazno osebje, ki ti ponudi osvežilno pijačo ob prihodu. Skrbno so nam spravili tudi prtljago po check out-u in bili zelo ustrežljivi.

Lo mejor de todo fue el personal, fueron super amables en todo momento tanto conmigo como con mi padre. Así que muchas gracias 😊 el desayuno también era variado y bueno. Hotel familiar con muy buenos trabajadores

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sono Hotel.
We enjoyed the location - an easy walk to all the action in the Old Town and also a nice walk to the West Lake for something different. Our room was very clean and comfortable - nice and dry, no damp or mold (people travelling in the region will likely appreciate this as unfortunately, being such a humid climate can be an issue) and a lovely comfortable bed.
Although the window did not have any real view (which we did not expect) it let plenty of natural light in (another issue that can be common) and the AC worked well.
The breakfast was a decent buffet spread - the breakfast room was a bit hot, but just the nature of the time of year.
Above all the staff were so friendly and kind - greeting us by first name and asking how our days were, it was a wonderful level of customer service - thank you!

Because you can book tours through the hotel, and that is something that's mentioned in the reviews a lot, I wasn't sure if we'd feel any kind of pressure to book anything. This was not a concern at all - the staff left us to our own devices (which we appreciated because we were enjoying just exploring Hanoi and also resting a bit) but I felt they were very approachable had we wanted to enquire about anything as well :)

Cuando llegamos, hacía mucho calor en Hanoi, y el chico de recepción, preocupado por nosotros, nos acompañó a nuestra habitación para encender corriendo el aire a tope, despues de habernos recibido con una refrescante bedida.
El hotel está muy bien, y en una zona inmejorable, al lado de la zona más turística de Hanoi, cerca de todo, pero en una calle tranquila.

It was our first time at the Sono hotel. Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly and courteous. They recommended for us many delicious foods and great package tour to Ha Long bay and Ninh Binh. Had a lot of fun

Die Lage ist perfekt! Das Zimmer war genau wie angegeben, sauber und bequeme Betten. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und haben viele tolle Empfehlungen bekommen. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns auch am darauffolgenden Tag gefragt, was wir machen wollen und uns sehr lieb beraten.

From the moment I checked in until the day I left, I had an excellent experience at The Sono. The service was fabulous. I could keep my luggage at the hotel during my trip to Sapa and Ha Long bay. They made my trip so much more memorable

Staying at the Sono hotel such a pleasant. Staff made us feel so welcome with orange juice and early check in. We booked tours to Cao Bang and Ninh Binh through the travel desk of the hotel. Amazing! You should add these places to your travel plan!

Location is good, close to the Old Quarters. Staff were attentive and kind. The travel desk helped us book overnight tour to Lan Ha bay and Cao Bang. Both trips were great.
