Very conveniently located and very good value
Pros:

We were very impressed by the front desk staff. We stayed for three nights; on the first night there was a problem, and we talked to the front desk. The staff member upgraded us to a much better room at no extra charge. Unfortunately, we did not get her name, but the gesture was much appreciated. The location was handy for the various activities we did as well as shopping. It's also very close to Stanley Park, which is a lovely park for an evening stroll. It's also very close to the 39th Avenue LRT station which is both a positive and a negative. It's a positive in that you can simply hop on a train to go downtown and not have to worry about parking in the expensive downtown core. Our room was clear and comfortable. The hotel itself is clean.

Cons:

Following up on my earlier comments regarding the nearby LRT station, it's a negative in that some very unsavory types hang out around the hotel. In fact, the night we checked in, we saw some people shooting up in the shadows by one of the exits. Also, on our first night we were in a tiny room on the bottom floor. In the morning, my wife saw there was someone sleeping on the ground outside our room, though someone from the management team had just come by to get this individual to move. Thankfully we were moved upstairs to a much nicer room.

Angenehme Unterkunft in zentrumsnaher Lage
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer zweckmäßig und sauber, aber recht klein.
Waschbecken befindet sich in einer Art "Vorraum" des Badezimmers. Sogar Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen vorhanden.
Die "Aushilfs-Klimaanlage" funktionierte ganz gut, den Pool haben wir leider in der kurzen Zeit nicht genutzt.
Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel und Haltestelle des C-Train auf der Rückseite des Gebäudekomplexes, mit dem man nach 3-4 Haltestellen (vorbei am Stampede-Gelände) schon im Stadtzentrum ist.

Cons:

Leider kein Frühstücksangebot und wenig Möglichkeiten in der Nähe (z.B. ein winziger Tim Hortons-Drive-Thru oder McDonalds).
Die Gegend um die C-Train-Station ist offenbar auch ein beliebter Treffpunkt von Obdachlosen/Drogenabhängigen, dort wären wir ungern allein oder in der Dämmerung unterwegs.

Disappointing hotel standard even after reading reviews, particularly because of the price range. Staff were everywhere
Pros:

It was right on the C Train track which made access to the city easy.

Cons:

The car park for the hotel had many drug addicts which meant walking through them to get to the train or walk a further 10 mins.
There were a lack of amenities in the room eg no cutlery or crockery although there was a microwave. Although staying there for 10 days we had to ask for housekeeping. Asked to collect own toilet paper and soap from service staff who were unfriendly. The facilities were run down.

The place looks nice, great value I feel and the staff were friendly.
Pros:

It was clean and bright, very close to downtown and a lot of amenities.

Cons:

Elevator is seems old and very slow, but other than that it was good.

Depressive and horribly overpriced
Pros:

the cheapest hotel in 10 minutes drive from Downtown, yet it is way too much overpriced. I stayed cheaper at a beutiful apartment at Eiffel Tower during Olympics..

Cons:

It's a decaying hotel on a busy road in an industrial zone, next to garages, pawshops and warehouses. if you want to get some food - there is popeye or you drive elsewhere. At night there is a long cargo train right behind the hotel. Single glass windows have no sound insulation - super noisy. Gym - half of equipment is broken, another - missing. No room service in 2 days. This hotel needs a serious renovation.
