Excellent value for money with superb staff!

The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to assist and make your stay enjoyable. The location in the Old Quarter was excellent.

Pros:

Location and the staff were great, there is a pretty atrium area with lanterns, breakfast was ok not as much variety as we have had but tasty.

Cons:

The bathroom grout had black all in it (unsure if it was dirty or mouldy), jutting into the bathroom was part of the air conditioning unit (not hidden or made to look better) the whole room felt worn and tired and could do with a clean up

Cons:

Sliepen op 8 ste verdieping waar je het laatste verdiep via trappen je bagage tot boven diende te brengen.
Wat verouderde kamer. je diende cash te betalen , zoniet kwam er 8 procent bij .

Goede ligging
Pros:

Dit hotel heeft een topligging! Het is vlakbij het uiterste centrum van Hanoi gelegen. De 'Nightmarket' start hier op 5 minuutjes vandaan.
Het personeel aan de receptie is ontzettend vriendelijk!
Er is een lift aanwezig in het hotel.

Cons:

Het ontbijt wordt héél traag aangevuld wanneer iets leeg is: van koffie tot fruit, ... Zelfs de glazen waren op en konden niet meteen aangevuld worden. Let wel; eens het stokbrood op is, komt er niks meer in de plaats. Wanneer men ons ( groep van 7 personen ) de eerste dag vroeg of alles naar wens was, hebben we dit van het stokbrood kort vermeld. Mochten ze er zelf niet om gevraagd hebben, hadden we dit zelf ook niet aangehaald. Ze gingen dit melden en hier zeker iets aan doen. 's Anderendaags waren we vroeger gaan ontbijten, maar het was nog steeds hetzelfde. Op is op.
We bestelden met 2 personen een omelet. Men was één omelet vergeten te maken. De andere omelet bevatte vlees, terwijl er gevraagd was net dit er uit te laten. Communicatie is niet altijd eenvoudig ...
De kamers zijn al wat verouderd. Er hangt een geurtje ( van de airco?) .
Bij het uitchecken werd ons gevraagd om zeker een goede review te schrijven : lucky number 10. Dit is het eerste hotel dat dit nadrukkelijk aan ons vroeg gedurende de hele trip door Vietnam.
Even later kreeg ik hierover zelfs een whatsappbericht. Hierin stond dat ze het ontbijt gingen herbekijken, maar dat ik hen nog een kans moest geven... Ze gingen zeker met onze 'bemerking' aan de slag binnen hun team en zouden dit in de toekomst verbeteren. Ze hoopten dat ik geen negatieve review zou geven.
Er was geen welkomstdrankje.
In Hanoi sliepen we in het begin van onze rondreis ook nog in een ander hotel, ietsje verderop gelegen. Het kostte ietsje minder en was duidelijk beter.

Hele aardige mensen iedereen heeft een hartelijk welkom mede dankzij Tiffany. Klein ontbijtje met alles erop en eraan. Goede bedden en kamers. Perfecte locatie in het oude centrum.
