Barceló Benidorm Beach - Adults Recommended

Was a great hotel very classy ideally situated by the end of the strip. Food was fresh and lovely. Staff pleasant and smiling. Benidorm has such a reputation we found barcelo to be great

Really good location and can't get any closer to the beach. Very busy will lots of groups staying at the hotel.

We stayed at the Barcelo Benidorm Beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel is located on the beach front adjacent to the old town which suited us perfectly, providing easy access to all amenity's and just far enough away (150mtrs) from a few noisy bars.The hotel is modern and clean, has a excellent restaurant and bar facilities. The staff were professional, pleasant and helpful, making us feel welcome. We booked a junior suite with a sea view, the room definitely didn't disappoint, it was worth the extra upgrade cost when booking with clear views along the beachfront and sea.
Throughly recommend this hotel, even better if you join the Barcelo loyalty program.

Hotel from the outset should be nice.

However building work next door at the side of hotel which is supposed to be sea facing has destroyed holiday.
Completely unable to sit in room and enjoy balcony due drilling, sawing, harmerin, banging and dust completely engulfing balcony’s and rooms facing.

Each day the work is relentless which starts at 7.15 in the morning and continues to 7ish in the evening.

Hotel staff were unwilling to help and refused to move us room even though we had a double booking.

Room stank of sewage half way through week from the drains.

If you are coming to this hotel in the next few weeks with a supposedly sea facing room you will be treated with building work and which will give you tinnitus and relentless headaches.

Reception staff then lied regarding rooms available.
Later seeing TikTok they were happy to offer upgrade to an influencer staying at the hotel.

Situation handled terribly by staff of hotel who were unwilling to accommodate.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast, lots of choice., Great location, just on edge of old town. Staff very pleasant.

The hotel was clean, modern and stylish. The staff were all very friendly and we received a particularly warm welcome from the receptionist. We were upgraded to a partial sea view room, the room was clean, modern and comfortable. We booked breakfast, but was offered a reasonable deal for half board, on arrival. The food was good and varied, the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was ideal, right on the beach and a stones throw away from the old town. I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely looking hotel right on the beach in the old town. Room was comfortable but a definite lack of storage space ie no drawers! We were on 1st floor which had a large balcony with sunbeds which was very nice. Unfortunately they are refurbishing the apartments next door so it was very noisy. No mention was made at the time of booking. The buffet restaurant was very busy and staff struggled to replenish plates and food. Food offered was not hot and unappetising. So we skipped dinner and ate out.

Just had a fantastic wkd break here. the rooms were clean to hotel was spotless, even when you walk in there is a lovely smell also in the lifts.
The restaurant and pool staff were very attentive also reception staff very pleasant.
the breakfast buffet was fresh and something for everyone.
the rooftop bar was spacious and quite chilled also the clientele were also happy people.
the location was perfect for us right near the old town and a short walk from the balcony de Europe, some nice restaurants close by also.
The only negative was that the pool was freezing cold. I just put my leg in and didn't go any further.

Barcelo Benidorm is located in a great spot for those wanting a nice easy walk to old town for restaurants and bars and both beaches but also on the right side of old town to enjoy live music in the evening if that’s what you want, but also far enough away that you won’t hear it if you don’t want to. A nice terrace to sit on in evening to people/sea watch. Sea room views are fantastic, as is the roof top area even though the pool is quite small (& was freezing when we were there!). Great drinks menu & food is lovely too. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff. The location of the Hotel is great. Breakfast was extremely good, well presented and always fresh. The staff were very efficient but still friendly.

We travelled as a group of 6 plagues to celebrate a 80th birthday for a friends mother and sister , we can’t fault this hotel it is one of the best we have stayed and would highly recommend the Barcelo Benidorm Beach Hotel it’s situated at end of new town right on the beach and close to the quieter old town area

The hotel was super from start to finish, the staff were all very polite and nothing was a problem, even when the dining room was busy in the morning it was run very smoothly
