Fantastic hotel, great facilities but poor soundproofing.
Pros:

The staff were incredible - so friendly and couldn’t do more for you. The pregnancy pillow they provided was exceptional and the bed/pillows were super comfortable. They cleaned daily, sometimes twice if you were out however we were often in so missed the turndown service.

Cons:

The rooms are advertised as soundproof as they were far from it. We could hear entertainment outside (even though they made us aware when happening which is great), and everyone returning from night out in the corridor. I was woken up every night by someone and being pregnant, I really was after some good rest. The restaurants were quite disappointing too as we were looking forward to some Mexican food only to be charged 20EUR for a small bowl of guacamole and the menu was extremely limited. It only had 3 variations of tacos and 3 burgers but 1 of the taco flavours (the only veggie option) wasn't even available. The food was very expensive everywhere in the hotel and didn't live up to expectations sadly. I would definitely venture out to get food instead.

Lentitud en todos los servicios, hostelería principalmente. Muy mala calidad de comida en restaurantes como el Sonrojo.
Manipulación de alimentos sin guantes por parte del personal en el bufete del desayuno.
No debería ser un hotel de 5 estrellas

Avoid this hotel – not worth 5 stars
Pros:

Overall, it was a nightmare experience for us. We regret booking this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The room was okay, but that’s the only positive thing we can say.

Cons:

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the Mondrian Hotel. This place doesn’t feel like a proper hotel but more like a hostel with a few independent restaurants attached to it. The pool areas look nothing like the pictures – there are no regular loungers available unless you pay extra, and bringing your own drinks (even water) is not allowed, which forces you to constantly buy overpriced items on-site. They also blocked €100 per night on our credit card without informing us in advance, which felt very untransparent. There’s no water refill station anywhere, which you would at least expect in a supposed 5-star hotel. It was promised to is that they would have vegan options, which wasn‘t the case at all.

Idyllic but a few teething problems
Pros:

The location was stunning and the bay/ cove was beautiful. Very secure and safe. The breakfast was brilliant as you had the choice of both buffet (great food) and the a la carte menu (also great food). Good selection of restaurants and bars around the hotel.

Cons:

We did not like the fact that dogs were allowed in the restaurant and one was even allowed to sit on the chairs and eat from a plate that other guests would eat on. This was pretty poor and staff did and said nothing to the client about this. The room we were in, which was a one bedroom suite had aircon and when you close the doors between the sofa area (where our daughter slept) and the bedroom, the aircon did nothing in the bedroom side and was too hot in the room.
There were continual issues with Hyde guests using the Mondrian pool and some days being told they could not and other days nothing was said. Then another day people were using large inflatables in the pool with no issue and then other days they were told they could not use them and to read the pool rules.
So there were a lot of inconsistencies.

Travel Advisor staying for Closing Parties
Pros:

Our stay at Hyde Ibiza was the best. I love Calle Llongo and the proximity to Talamanca was perfect for us. The room!! Wonderful size and space. We especially loved the dj set channel so we could keep the vibes going before heading to closing parties.
We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and appreciated the staff who, while closing the day we left, were so helpful with taxis and keeping us aware of what was open or might be closed.
