Good stay, but not cheap
Pros:

Breakfast was good, but I prefer a buffet. Gym equipment is OK. Noise isolation is not great but acceptable.

Cons:

Room is pretty small. The desk to work at is too small and a electricity plug nearby the desk is necessary.

Fun hotel stay with great amenities close to the downtown core
Pros:

It had a really cool atmosphere. The lobby had a lot going on in terms of working space or casual space and places to eat. Available coffee and water in the lobby was really nice touch. The room was beautifully designed. It was functional, but not too cluttered and a nice layout for a smaller space. Hotel is well located easy to get to the downtown area.

Cons:

Nothing really I don’t think I have any comments.

ein sehr schönes neues hotel und zimmer, aber bei der ausführung könnte noch optimiert werden

ideal gelegen
nach hinten sehr ruhig

Cons:

wc schüssel wackelt
falsche wc brille (klappt immer au eine seite weg)
papierrolle so montiert dass man sicher nicht hinkommt.
tv so montiert dass man von keiner dafür vorgesehen stelle sicht darauf hat.
sichtschutz geht nicht bis unten (1/2)
klimaanlage war so laut wie ein formel1 wagen und ging regelmäsdig alle 15‘ an damit man sicher kurz einschlafen kann

The room was half cleaned, one bed done up, one left undone. Garbage not cleared out, used glasses left. Rooms feel like an upgraded hostel, for the price we did not feel like it was worth the money.

A hip place to stay for those under 30
Pros:

The Moxy is located close to downtown Halifax. Easy to walk to the harbour front area and all the pubs. The room was clean and when we had an issues with the air conditioning they were quick to move us. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful. A really fun lobby to spend time in and free gummy worms! The room was interesting and cool. The beds were super comfortable.

Cons:

The demographic focus for the Moxy is a younger and hip crowd than we are. We had issues with people coming back late at night Friday and Saturday (after 1 am and before 3 am) yelling in the hallway and slamming doors at all hours of the day and night. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel this one of isn’t it.
