Short stop
Pros:

To be fair, I arrived at midnight and departed at 5 AM so I can't really rate this property. However checking in was easy and the room was nice, clean and comfy

Good hotel for a rest stop.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable and the washroom was clean, very modern, and the shower had good water pressure. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night as a rest stop on our way to the northern part of the island, so we can't comment on much else, but it was a good stay overall. They provide excellent free coffee!

Cons:

There seemed to have been some light stains on the linens of both beds, but this is a very minor issue.

Fab find, definitely recommend. Clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Been travelling for a week and this was without doubt the best bed and shower. The staff greeted us, and waved us off, with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Well located for food outlets and on tap hot drinks in the guest lobby. Thank you.

Pros:

It was very cozy and comfortable
Pros:

Cute. Like camping for non campers. Had a cute little baroque and outdoor eating area

Cons:

I have been to a coast hotel before in the Nanaimo. For instance, where we had a massive jacuzzi in our massive room. This was a motel, not remotely comparable to Coast Nanimo, which was my expectation.

Coast Courtenay had many nice touches, comfortable beds and our stay was very relaxing.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable. The room has many extra nice touches, such as a rainfall shower. We have dietary issues so having a kitchenette and coffee machine was very handy. The location was excellent in a fairly quiet area with many amenities nearby. There was also lots of free parking available. Staff are super helpful.
