Pros:

Staff were amazing, very helpful in all aspects of the word. Clean, good restaurant and bars, sea front rooms, amazing views and location. Rooms were very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable and big...bigger than a king size.

Just what we were looking for, a short getaway to recharge the batteries!
Pros:

A great seaside hotel in a perfect location, lots of history and an old style feel!
The staff are very friendly, professional and efficient.
We have eaten at the hotel restaurant before, the food is great quality and well priced,

Horrible- I couldn’t wait to leave
Pros:

This place is not worth the location is sitting on. The rooms are so ancient , the doors are broken and run down they use an ancient locking system that was designed before my grandparents even existed. The bathroom is extremely spooky and full of rust. It was freezing when I checked in, Cape Town had a cold front - this place doesn’t even have a single electric blanket or an air conditioner. So there’s no way of warming up the room or the bed 🥶
I didn’t enjoy the breakfast, it was very average, they only had dairy milk which was not warm.
There’s a Middle Aged Zimbabwean lady who woke me up knocking at my door at (8:30) in the morning for house keeping. I didn’t reply until she was (inside) my room- she unlocked my room while I was still sleeping she then asked me what time she should clean my room.
There’s no peace in this hotel.
98% of their employees are foreigners from Zimbabwe, I don’t recommend staying at this hotel

Being hosted by untrained, casual foreign nationals.
I had no peace. I couldn’t wait to leave
This place needs serious renovation, the rooms are extremely horrendous and cold!

A life-changing experience at the very hotel where we spent our honeymoon fifty years ago.
Pros:

It’s the width of a street from the sand and then the sea at Kleinbaai; with the best view in the world — Table Mountain.
