Nothing much! Vegan options in the rooms (such as oat milk) would be great if you know a guest is vegan. Air conditioning or a fan would be good - the window would have worried me a little if I stayed with children as it opened so wide.

There’s no allocated or linked parking so it was quite expensive to park at another location nearby which was safe

Staff unhelpful and downright miserable. Hardly any breakfast food left on our first morning even tho went down for it in good time.

We had to check in ourselves using a machine where we were requested to type in all the information that we had provided when booking anyway, that's not 100% ideal and I'd personally prefer to have a member of staff doing the check-in. Check-out was using a machine as well but this was faster as less things to type.

Parking was a bit of a hassle as the provided discount code for the NCP Brighton Centre car park did not work in the NCP App (appearently there are some technical problems) and, unfortunately, our message to the hotel asking for help prior our arrival did not get answered. In the end we had to pay the regular parking fee first and claimed a refund from NCP which was issued within a few days. The car park is close to the hotel which is convenient but the lifts were not working (and according to reviews haven't been working for quite a while) so you might want to consider to drop off your luggage first.

Was extremely filthy, full of dust, had to ask for the floors to be mopped properly at least 4 times during my 3 nights stay and they were still dirty. My infant baby’s clothes got damaged and were always dirty before we go out. We always had to wash our feet before going out and had to make sure we dont step on the floor from how dusty it was. There was all sorts of dirt under the bed that was also reported. We were not even offered slippers after complaining so many times. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. Does not represent 4 star service. The house keeping team took my baby’s towel by mistake probably and we were told we’re not gonna be able to get it back which made our trip inconvenient. The same time I complained about it there was another guest with the same complaint that house keeping took her shirt. Couldnt wait to check out from this hotel. The worst for families with kids. I also sent an e-mail to complain and never heard back !

Coffee. Had a coffee in the bar area whilst I waited for my wife, dreadful, could be the worst coffee I’ve had in years.
Parking. I had read before travelling that you could park across the road and some sort of discount was given, this wasn’t the case. Although this is my own fault for not double-checking at time of booking.
