Breakfast was lovely served fresh and hot good choice and nicely presented staff very helpful , room was comfortable and clean highly recommend x
The location, building and staff were brilliant.
Nothing.
Great location near to the centre and near the racecourse which was the main reason for our trip.
Room was lovely and clean just a little small and no storage for your clothes. We were on the ground floor which was ideal. We had the breakfast on one morning and it was lovely.
A lovely hotel which, despite being on a busy road, was pleasantly quiet. Conveniently located for the train station (short cut through the station car park onto Lowther Terrace) and a 20 minute walk from the city centre. It was clean and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The availability of fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. Private parking is a bonus in a city location.
The kitchen was directly below my room and became noisy as soon as the staff started cooking breakfast.
Location perfect just a 20 min walk from Centre perfect little park close by to walk dog and lovely premises staff lovely and welcoming exceptionally clean!
Nothing it was perfect
All very good parking a bonus
There was nothing to like as we had our booking cancelled the day before our stay. We were completely ghosted by the venue despite sending multiple messages. We were not told why the booking was cancelled. Very unprofessional.

Great location
Bit noisy with traffic
Staff are super friendly, location and property is fantastic
The staff were really polite and helpful
Our room was really small , nothing like the brochure pictures.and because you couldn't open the window more than 2 inch it was so hot ,,no air at all which made for a poor night sleep
The staff
Very very noisy
This lovely hotel is situated in a terrace of Regency houses set back from the road. The welcome is warm and very friendly, the whole place, including the room, is spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well, the bathroom is just right with a good walk-in shower. We stayed in room 5 (Deluxe King), a lovely spacious room on the first floor at the front of the property, overlooking the front garden. I highly recommend this place, it’s very comfortable and great value for money. We’ll be back!
Not much! A tiny niggle: the door handle to the bathroom was detached at the top. The room was warm due to the heated towel rail in the bathroom, however this was easy to switch off which made a big difference. Other than that I can’t really fault it.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable, excellent breakfast.
Good location
Bed room too small
Nice modern decor, clean and tidy room with good amenities (tea/coffee, hairdryer, long mirror, toiletries etc). Friendly staff and a good location if you don't want to pay the prices of central hotels.
The room we stayed in was on the smaller side, although ideal for only a 1-2 night stay and we were actually offered an upgrade for a small fee. The room was also next to the breakfast area so noisy on a Sunday morning, pre-8am..
