A very comfortable clean and quiet location
Would have been better if there was an iron and ironing board available in the room .
Location as it is close to our daughter’s
It is lovely and a lot of care and expense has been invested in the rooms etc, but it is quite pricey compared to other hotels in the area. More on a par with London rates, but quiet and easy to access. Breakfasts are excellent.
Beautiful, well-appointed and comfortable room. Huge, comfy bed. Accommodation felt a touch luxurious. Good lighting. Super bathroom. Nice toiletries. Will be back.
Breakfast not included
I think at price breakfast could have been lncuded
Our room was fabulous, the decor was exceptional the only issue we had was the ventilation in the room. We understand the difficulties of ground floor rooms and windows opening too wide ie. security issues. If we did return, a first floor room would be better for us.
Dinner on our first evening was disappointing, my starter of ravioli was completely tasteless and the so called bubble and squeak with my main dish was some rather bland mash potato with vegetables made into a patty. Then to have it on my breakfast plate in the morning was bizarre. Our breakfast was superb apart from carrots and beans in some tasteless mash.
The room was exceptional. Fantastic shower. Food was great and staff were all friendly.
Being very picky breakfast starts a bit late.
The location was very convenient as we were visiting Exeter University. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The toiletries were very nice.
We happened to be visiting during an unusually hot spell. Despite the fan in the room it was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. Air conditioning would be a welcome addition.
Room was fantastic, well decorated, clean, modern and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Beautiful pub with a thatched roof, accommodation is a separate modern building. Plenty of parking. Very close to Exeter city.
We visited during a heatwave and discovered our room did not have air conditioning, however having all three Velux style windows was enough to cool the room overnight.
Beautifully decorated
Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff . Roasting hot room

Nothing
