B&B HOTEL London Heathrow

Where do you start. Check in. - Miserable staff. She would not verbally or write down my key code number. 'insisted' I open email to get it. I just wanted to go to my room and not dig out and boot up lap top. She gave in and supplied a key card ( eventually). Heavy weight quilt on bed in a heatwave. No kettle or coffee maker. window will not open for fresh air. Had evening meal. 3 draught beers on the bar. 2 not working. 1 server totally flat and warm. Staff had no clue that this was not how larger is served. Got a bottled beer.. from the fridge which was warm. Ordered a cup of tea. Reminded waitress after 30 minutes.. Finally arrived. cup of hot water. a teabag and a cup of milk. not jug, a cup and a dessert spoon to stir it with. Table tops are very sticky and need a deep clean. We saw the dining attendant at breakfast cleaning tables so we know why they are sticky. . Also she cleaned tables (loosely) , then stacked the odd cup, messed with coffee machine and brought out eggs, and all with the same pair of disposable gloves on. The dining area was soulless. Ordered 2 meals. waited over 30 minutes. One arrived too hot and the other virtually cold. Desserts were excellent however. At breakfast. 2 grubby cups for coffee. The cups too small so machine filled cup and over ran. Eggs powdery, beans tasteless, Croissants over cooked and crispy. Bacon was OK . All options were sparse and had to ask for more egg which was 10 minutes coming and then tasted like powdered egg. Hardly any bread for toast. No tea spoons at all. In the room the toilet would bot flush hardly. 3 attempts needed every time. Only one very flat pillow on the bed. Shower was excellent . Nice large TV

Breakfast was mediocre, parking a little unclean.

Nothing at all

I have stayed for 2 nights, and my room was not clean during this time. The shower was leaking and the paint was pilling off from the bathroom door. Very poor breakfast and dirty tables. Used plates and glasses were piling up on the trolleys and at 08.30 many breakfast options were already unavailable.

The breakfast experience was disappointing. No cutlery or coffee cups when we got down for breakfast and not a great choice of food.

Breakfast wasn't great but the most important thing is that doesn't matter what time I had my breakfast items weren't refilled or the appliances weren't working so you couldn't really have your normal breakfast.
Also, at least my hotel room, needs a poper clean. The bathroom needs a deep clean because every tap and shower was covered in limescale!

The room was clean and the staff were courteous. The receptionist, Navjot, was especially kind and understanding.

However, the air conditioning in Room 324 was not working, making the room unbearably hot and impossible to sleep in.

I reported the issue to reception, but it could not be resolved and I had to leave at around 2:00 am.

The hotel later offered a 50% refund which I appreciated, but I do not feel this fairly reflects the fact that I was unable to stay overnight or use the room properly.

I also noticed several other reviews mentioning similar air conditioning issues. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Prices for snacks in the lobby were a little higher than we would have liked.
