Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Lovely old building. Delicious food. Perfect location.
Nothing!
Our room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities we needed and considering it was above the pub/restaurant it was quiet.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was good and the staff would always look to accommodate a table for us even when the restaurant was busy.
A great location to stay when exploring north Norfolk.
The only downside was the bathroom was very small and didn’t give much privacy.
Lovely old pub. Great food. Helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
Nothing. We had all we needed. The rooms aren’t large and the stairs are steep but the Pub is very old so this is to be expected. We loved it.
It’s looks good as per the money and location
Nothing much but not bad
Breakfast was ok but thought the extra charges were uncalled for ie extra to have eggs Benedict but you could have a full English at no extra cost and the amount of staff at breakfast time was poor one person to serve and take orders book people out etc and serve casual dinners who were not residents
Not having dogs in the dining room most unhygienic especially when they are sitting on peoples laps with their paws on the table and staff petting dogs you don’t know if they wash their hands before they serve food. We found that aspect must off putting and the yapping was enough to put you right off
The breakfast was very good.
The food (particularly the specials) in the evening was superb. We asked our server to pass on our compliments to the chef.
The setting, next to the church, and in a very beautiful village, was great.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
frankly we have no criticism at all to make.
Charming but also old
Floor skewed, window could not be kept open, hot
Perfect
Fabulous location. Great size room (twin bed room) Lots of history to it.
Great staff and food.
Pillows could have been more comfortable. Maybe my preference but a little lumpy!
Very nice
Comfortable
It’s lovely and very charming.
The staff were brilliant, and the food was gorgeous.
The location in the middle of the village was good.
The towels were changed daily abd were exceptionally white and fluffy and a good size, and the bed linen was superb.
It was a very relaxing place to stay.
Not much outside space given over to visitors as it was such a popular place for local people to meet after work.
Clean & spacious room
All good
Good all round and food very good.
Nothing
The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Although not an extensive menu, the food was very well prepared and presented and tasted very good. The room was very clean and the mattress very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well.
The building had character, however the plumbing also had character, being quite noisy.
It was unfortunate that, as the weather was really warm and doors were open, a few flies visited the dining room at the same time as us.
