Had a lovely overnight stay at this charming traditional hotel while walking the Fife Coastal Trail.
Pros:

Earl David Hotel is a charming traditional hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful, the room was spotless and the beds comfortable. There is an excellent Indian/Nepalese restaurant in the hotel where we had a delicious meal, and there's a cosy bar as well.

Pros:

The staff were polite, the location nice its in a beautiful village

Cons:

Hairs in the bed,over the floors ,dirty doors,flakey paint work,the dirty carpets,......its a beautiful building but which could look amazing if only it was looked after,and cleaned .

Good value comfortable room.
Pros:

The room was clean and good value. The Indian restaurant downstairs was good.

Cons:

It it right next to the road although the road is not very busy at night. The entrance and hallway could do with some sprucing up. No breakfast is available.

A bargain for one night at very short notice.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and it was a nice touch that the curtains had been drawn to keep it cool on a very hot, sunny day. The bed was large and comfortable. It was very reasonably priced for a room only (the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast.) We enjoyed an excellent Nepalese/Indian meal in the restaurant. The food was tasty, portions just right and a selection of dishes that were a bit different from Indian restaurant standard offerings. Service was nicely paced, not rushed, but not waiting ages either, and the waiter was polite. It was a very convenient one night stay when we were unexpectedly in the area.

Cons:

There was some noise from the road, though it wasn’t terribly busy, and we could hear the television in the neighbouring room, but this wasn’t a big issue. There aren’t any alternative evening food options nearby, and we wouldn’t want to eat Indian food two nights in a row. This, and not having a breakfast available made it a good place for one night, but personally I wouldn’t want to stay longer.

Some of the decoration was very poorly finished - paint on the wallpaper and carpet.

Struttura datata, ma comoda essendo lungo la strada principale e con possibilità di posto auto. Perfetta per 1 notte, non di piu.

Great food and comfortable bed but the bar lacked all atmosphere and comfort
Pros:

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and looked newly refurbished
The staff were friendly and very efficient

Cons:

The car park area, the bar, toilets and stairs looked scruffy and not very clean

Pros:

did not have breakfast. very clean.

Cons:

the shower was good but the only reason I have not marked it as 10/10 is the shower tray is lethal. If a person who is not good on their feet they will have a fall. It's very slippery and a grab rail is needed.

Voor kort verblijf en doorreis prima hotel
Pros:

Kamers waren groot en de hygiëne goed tussen door werd er nog verschoond bed opgemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken klaar gelegd perfect

Cons:

Bij deze locatie had je geen ontbijt daarvoor moet je de deur uit of iets halen op de kamer eten alleen middag lunch en avondeten prima verzorgd
