The location and concept are great. The field is covered by small huts and it’s quite astonishing. It definitely provides a different vibe. The staff and restaurant quality were excellent.
I’m still trying to justify the price, comparing it to other hotels were we stayed in a similar price range. Maybe that if the rooms were a bit larger…
The property is unique and the hides come with air conditioning. The views are spectacular and it is very quiet. They will take your luggage to your hide in a. Gold cart which was super helpful. The rooms were beautiful and the luggage fit under the bed easily to make more room. Shower had excellent pressure.
The WiFi was spotty in the hide. Some of the staff were wonderful- the guys that took the luggage were terrific. Some staff were not so friendly. We had terrible service one night at the bar when a staff member who apparently didn’t usually work the bar was there. Things seemed disjointed like not all staff was trained or they were short staffed.

Great. modern stay on Skye. The pods are so well designed and comfortable, which was a really great surprise. Cannot recommend highly enough. Great location for launch pad for any Skye activities.
Long uphill walks to the pods in the morning.
Close enough to Portree to walk to and from. Cabin was larger than hotel rooms in Edinburgh and Inverness. Sitting on the porch and drinking coffee. Breakfast and Dinner were both excellent

We loved the unique experience it offered. Staying in a dome is worth it.The hotel is close to town. The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast offerings were very good, food arrived in a timely manner, staff was very friendly- even remembered our names from the night before.
Our hide was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view. We were thankful to be in Portree.
The main building was painfully hot with the sun streaming in the big windows blasting everyone at the tables and booths at breakfast. I overheard multiple people ask to be mover to a location out of the sun, but that wasn't available. The heat and sun definitely took away my appetite. At dinnertime either was still very warm, too warm in the restaurant. Some motorized drop down shades would spare your customers this painful breakfast sunshine.
We utilized the sauna and cold plunge and found the sauna to not be quite warm enough but clean and private. There was an abundance of small fish in the bottom of the cold plunge - not sure if this is on purpose, but it felt like a lot of fish.

De afwerking van de pods, de stoelen voor de pod waren kapot. Geen stoel binnen, geheel erg klein. Voor 550 euro per nacht mag je wel wat meer verwachten.
Excellent location in Portree close to everything. Very cute and private huts with a beautiful view overlooking Portree and the food was delicious! Staff were very nice to work with!
Our room was at the very top of the hill so it was a little difficult getting to breakfast and back to the room. The gravel roads made it difficult to get around with luggage so maybe having some solid sidewalks to walk on would help.
