Friendly staff, lovely location and views from the room, excellent breakfast
Stayed in room 2, beds were a little firm
Location was perfect for us and our dog. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Bar area and restaurant were good and very clean.
From the booking.com information we thought as we had a dog the room would be on the ground floor but we were in room 310 on the third floor. There was a lift so we managed but being in the eves of the property and both being tall the head height in the bathroom was not adequate. This does not mean we would not return though, only that we would ask for a room with more headroom.
Staff were extremely helpful and charming. Lovely location and on the 3 rd floor great sea view. If you like an English breakfast, it was magnificent.
The room was tired and the bathroom needed refurbishing. The toilet was not attached to the floor and the water in the shower was sporadic both in temperature and in there being any water!
Staff were very accommodating under the hot weather. The bar was open and lots of ice which were useful to keep cool. I asked for fan and it was provided very quickly. Breakfast was surperb!
Prime location for parkrun goers and any events at the Ocean or even the Exmouth Festival.
There was no lock on my window which was little unsettling to leave valuable things behind.
All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was vey good. Location excellent. Nice bar area. Two gardens to relax in. Exceptionally clean.

The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Lack of air conditioning. The temperature was improved when a member of staff brought in a fan, though.
The room was noisy, as it was close to the reception, with doors slamming and raised voices during the night.
Breakfast was old school. Acceptable, but hadn't moved with the times. The young waiting staff were helpful and considerate, though.

The room was dated, and old. The shower was rubbish. We feel like the photos on the hotels gallery do a very good job at making the rooms look nice, when they are not. Very overpriced for what we had.
Near the beach, nice breakfast, very friendly staff at breakfast. The sheets are clean and the bed was small buth good. A nice decorated hotel in old English style.
No parking place. The bedroom was very small, no chair, no place to put your luggage. We got a room on the third floor and we heard till midnight, the staff shouting and laughing in the garden. The bathroom was small and very old. We booked with booking.com and they don’t like that. So they told to another couple that booked.
