We booked a sea view room, we were put on the top floor but unfortunately we looked out onto a concrete wall so the sea view could only be seen when standing, would have like to enjoy a cup of tea sitting and looking at the view.

real bugbear was lack of hot water during day for shower etc. also very cold and took couple of days for heating to be turned on.
The lovely receptionist who welcomed us!! Breakfast was good. Location was also very good for the seafront with an excellent sea view from the 3rd floor window.
Room was very small but adequate for just one night.

The building and facilities could benefit from a little TLC, but that was reflected in the price.
Everything was perfect. It was our first time bringing our dog for a beach trip and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel and service. All of the staffs (incl. the owners) were very helpful and kind. We spoke a lot with Anastasia the receptionist, she was always very lovely and accommodating, and our dog Bruno sure loved her too. We stayed in the bedroom which has the sea view, it was the best decision ever. The view was breathtaking, so even when we just stayed in for the day it was still really nice just watching the sea. The room was the perfect size for 2 people, even plus a dog! This hotel is very dog-friendly, even you can say hello to the owners' dog who hangs out at the hotel. Our dog eats fresh food hence it needs to be stored in the fridge - while the room doesn't have fridge, the hotel staffs were very kind to let me store it in their fridge and let me collect it from them when I needed them. The hotel's location is also very strategic, it's just 3 mins walk away from the Exmouth beach and it's just across. It's 3 mins walk to the convenience store, and about 10 mins walk to the town centre. We walked our dog to the beach everyday as it was very close and nice. On top of all that, they do a lovely breakfast and it has been included in the hotel booking (unlike other hotels who'd charge extra for this). For dog owners, they provided us a table in their bar/reception room where the breakfast would get delivered there. They also have a lovely garden at the back to chill and hang out. We had a wonderful time staying there and it's been a while since I had a very nice and positive experience in a hotel. You know you will receive excellent services when the staff spoke very highly of the owners. We'd definitely recommend anyone staying here in Exmouth and especially if they plan to bring their furry friend! I'd give this hotel 11 out of 10 rating if I could. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable.

Great position- with parking that was free.
Clean and tidy and comfortable accommodation- with lift to help take bags up to the attic room. Breakfast included and was good.
Attic room was a little small- bathroom shower not for taller people. Bed was ok, a better mattress would add to appeal .
Location, staff were amazing, friendly chatty and helpful, very flexible and lovely bar and gardens.
Too many steps as mums disabled but that’s it.
