Pros:

Our stay was better than the booking experience
Pros:

The location was excellent. The room was spacious and light. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and well appointed. I liked that fresh milk and water were provided and that there were fans in the room.
The continental breakfast buffet had ample choice and the quality of the produce was good. Service was friendly.

Cons:

There were issues with booking. The hotel were aware that Booking.com had suffered an outage. At the same time they decided to change booking systems. I received WhatsApp messages, and emails asking for verification of details, credit cards, reservation, etc which were fraudulent and it became impossible to know what were genuine requests and what were not. I messaged the hotel and received a variety of explanations but it was impossible to ignore. It became apparent as well that whatever payment system operated between Booking.com and the hotel triggered emails to me which were confusing and frustrating and worrisome and unnecessary. Despite contacting the hotel and telling them this on multiple occasions I received the generic thank you for your feedback which we will pass onto the management, but as we are so popular we don’t care response. No apologies were made in person when I arrived as well. I have travelled extensively via Booking.com and have never experienced these issues with other hotels. The anxiety caused was unnecessary and entirely avoidable. An apology in person would have been appreciated. A gesture of goodwill even better.
As far as value for money. This hotel is very popular and charges accordingly but not to provide an option of a cooked breakfast is mean when you are paying for a luxury stay. One of the joys of staying in a hotel is a great breakfast. Unlikely to stay again. I don’t need the aggravation.

A quirky but relaxing place and really friendly staff. friendly staff.
Pros:

The helpful welcome from the reception guy. Having original works of art on the wall, the vintage look, lovely teas and juices in the fridge.

Cons:

I was upgraded to a seaview room but it was noisy late into the evening with traffic from the road so I didn’t sleep well.

Pros:

Just did one night for my birthday, the location, amenities, rooftop were great. Nice continental breakfast and friendly staff.

Cons:

We stayed in the Superior King Room, from the pics on booking.com I was expecting it to have the bay window with seating in the window, but it didn't. I would have chosen another room with better sea views or specified the room I was after but I don't think you can. Pic 10, 14, 15 and 30 is the room.

We had a wonderful stay and will come back again .
Pros:

Beautiful renovated Hotel, the bedroom was extremely clean , bed super comfy, slept so well during the Margate festival !
Showering in the morning was very pleasant , good water pressure .
Staff very welcoming & responsive , I forgot my phone charger and the lady at reception was offering one straight away .
View from the roof top is amazing .

Cons:

The elevator is extremely slow .
We used the stairs to be quicker.
