Great location for stay in Margate
Pros:

Lovely attention to detail. Room was very tastefully decorated. Food was delicious and bed was very comfortable

Pros:

Lovely room with seaview. Nice touches like tea, coffee, fresh milk and apple juice. Great location and great breakfast.

Very good, we enjoyed the view from the roof terrace too!
Pros:

The location was excellent, right opposite the Turner Gallery. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice but you could order a cooked breakfast for an extra charge.
The bed and pillows were very comfy and fans were provided in the room. I liked the coffee making station and the toiletries were divine.

Cons:

I personally would have preferred a walk-in shower, but we really had no complaints.

Wonderful. Hotel is done out beautifully, very thoughtful in the restoration. Staff all lovely.
Cons:

Booking.com changed my rate. I had to cut the stay from 4 nights to 3, booking.com treated this as a new booking and applied a different, higher rate which I felt was unreasonable - it wasn’t a change of dates.

Favorite Hotel in the UK
Pros:

I can't wait to go back. This hotel is everything you could want in a seaside town. It's intimate, beautiful, full of character. More than anything, it has the nicest staff – it felt like staying with a lovely family. They saw me admiring a sunscreen that they let guests use, and when I couldn't find it at the store they sent me to buy it, they gave it to me! When I admired their hotel paper pads and said my four kids would love them, they went and brought out one for each kid! They were just nice, and friendly, and happy, and I want to go back just to be a part of the lovely Fort Road family for another weekend.

Cons:

Nothing, it's perfect.

Great hotel
Pros:

Very clean, well decorated, excellent high quality breakfast able to accommodate gf request, very nice staff! We will be back. We expected no TV according to previous comments, but there was a TV in the room! With nice books, eye masks, ear plugs, tea and coffee and even 2 fresh cookies! The bathroom was quite big and the bed very comfortable. Hard flooring in the room was also appreciated as it is way cleaner than carpet and better for allergies.

Cons:

It was warm but there were 2 fans and we able to open the window so it did not bother us! The lift was broken but for a one night stay it was not too much of an issue.
