Hotel muito bem localizado no centro de Oxford. A acomodação é bem decorada. Colchão poderia ser melhor. Banheiro pequeno, mas funcional. A pia poderia ser trocada, pois espirra água para todos os cantos. A academia é pequena, porém moderna e funcional.
Exceto pela recepção (check in / out), o serviço do hotel fica muito a desejar. Por exemplo: Exceto pela menina do Nepal, que acabou sendo extremamente gentil e profissional, café da manhã extremamente devagar, quase parando. Você pede um expresso e vem um americano. Funcionários com um mau humor sem precedentes. Falta um gerente para colocar ritmo no atendimento. Por outro lado, comida bem feita. Outro problema: deixamos o quarto as 10:30 da manha e quando voltamos as 15:30 ainda não tinha sido arrumado.
Everything was designed to be cozy and make you feel at home.
The gym could be a bit more spacious and better equipped. In the room, there could be a brighter reading light as the bedside lamp was not as bright.
Perfect location for exploring Oxford. The staff were all brilliant - professional and friendly. Sadly I dont remember their names but the staff who checked us in were especially great and deserve recognition for the level of service they provided. Amazing cocktails on the rooftop bar (Suite & Sour was INCREDIBLE!). Breakfast fresh and good range of options. Attention to detail throughout the whole hotel was perfect - every single thing was obviously carefully considered and implemented - in particular the Lusso bath was a big win!!
It is a shame that the spa doesn’t have a pool / similar but we appreciate logistically that wouldn’t be straightforward. It would complete the spa experience :)
The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The rooftop bar was great. The bed was comfy.
We were in a basement room where the windows were overlooked by reception so you couldn't have any natural light if you wanted any privacy. We did ask to be moved and whilst it was fully booked the first night they did offer us a room on the ground floor for the second night, but I was still surprised that for how much we paid this was an option.

La camera molto piccola. E i comfort all'interno erano inutilizzabili. Il letto non è matrimoniale , troppo piccolo.La macchina del caffè era piena di polvere. Senza l'acqua e abbandonata a sé stessa. Le tazze macchiate . La biancheria del letto pulito solo la parte di sopra. Armadio non chiuso. Per noi non da 5 stelle per il costo della prenotazione.
Un consiglio. Curate rendendo utilizzabile i comfort all'interno della camera. E eliminate i tappetti e cuscini superflui in modo da rendere la camera più igienizzabile.
Recently, we celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Store. The hotel is beautifully located right in the centre of Oxford. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived earlier than expected and wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel, but it turned out that our room was already ready, so we were able to check in immediately.
We had booked a room with a balcony, but instead we were upgraded and given a room with a stunning terrace and breathtaking views over the city. The room itself, however, was small and, for a 5-star hotel, rather disappointing. There was not a single chair, armchair, or desk in the room. The mattress and pillows were hard and not particularly comfortable.
The bathroom was nicely and modernly designed, with a spacious shower cabin. The shower gels and shampoos were excellent quality and smelled wonderful. What felt very disappointing and lacking in class, however, was the note asking guests not to take these products home, otherwise they would be charged to the bill. Is it really necessary to mention something like that in a hotel of this standard?
For our anniversary, we received two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar. We decided to visit the rooftop bar, but unfortunately it was only open from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, which made very little sense. It was the middle of the week — exactly the time when most people go out for dinner. It opened too late for a pre-dinner drink and closed too early for a drink after dinner. When we arrived, there was already a queue of around 8–10 people waiting for the bar to open. Yes, there is also a lobby bar open 24 hours a day, but the rooftop bar has a unique atmosphere and spectacular views.
Breakfast was another disappointment. We had the full English breakfast, and I must admit it was the worst full English breakfast I have ever had. One egg with an overcooked yolk, barely warm, a meat patty instead of proper sausages, a garlic mushroom for breakfast?

The room itself was fantastic — beautifully done, comfortable and finished to a very high standard. The location is also excellent for exploring Oxford.
What really made the stay, though, was the staff. Every single member of staff we encountered — reception, bar staff and restaurant staff — were absolutely brilliant. Friendly, welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Nothing felt too much trouble, and the service was consistently warm and professional.
The only slight disappointment was the breakfast. Given the price point, I did expect a little more variety and choice. The buffet selection felt quite limited compared to what you might expect from a hotel of this standard.
That said, the service and overall experience were excellent, and the staff really are a credit to the hotel.

Stylish hotel. Very clean. Excellent communication from hotel before arrival. They went above and beyond to help me celebrate my son's first birthday. The restaurent made a fruit "cake", and they put balloons in our room. The guest experience manager who arranged it was very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. So if you have a special occasion happening during your stay, it's worth telling them before arrival. The hotel also provided a cot and nappy bin, and is accessible for prams. The massages at the spa were very good. We prebooked them online at The Stores own website. The location is central, so it's easy to walk to most attractions.
Nice breakfast, but it's made to order, not buffet style, so there's a short wait. There's a small selection of cereals and fruits readily available on the table though.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, freshly prepared. Very attentive staff, very helpful and friendly. My room was lovely, lovely hotel and good location, I would definitely stay here again.
