Beautiful bar and fab location, very poor nights sleep!
Pros:

The location and bar was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I was pleased to see that we were upgraded to a deluxe room as we were celebrating a special birthday. However I was very surprised and slightly disappointed at how small the room and bed was.
I didn’t sleep very well at all as there was a flashing smoke alarm going off every 60 seconds all night which kept me awake. There was no point reporting this in the early hours of the morning as the ceiling was very high and it would have been far more disruptive to do so.
It made me think the leaflet to buy a sleep mask was to hide your eyes from the flashing smoke detector!
I did explain to reception the next day how poor my nights sleep was and she apologised and said she’d report it to maintenance!

Pros:

Staff. Other hotels of the same quality I have found to be a bit ‘stuffy’. This is not the case with this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Hairdryer - I wish this matched the quality of the hotel. It did not even have a nozzle ! This may seem minor but it is an important feature.

Lovely hotel and great service
Pros:

Stayed here as a treat after a concert. The interior around the bar area is stunning, its a beautiful building. Staff are all very attentive and efficient. Room was really nice and comfortable.
Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant, but overpriced.
Pros:

Our son held his wedding at the hotel and it all went well. The staff were brilliant.

Cons:

Overpriced. The rooms weren’t worth £300+ and residents had to pay to access the spa which was appalling.
