Deluxe double room was a great size and our Aircon worked well..really liked the click option buttons on the shower for different settings..staff were friendly and professional. The central bar atrium space was nice and relaxing and welcoming.
I couldn't have hash browns with my cooked breakfast due to my seafood allergy as they are cooked in the same fryer..no alternative offered. The cooked breakfast wasn't very good and we found an amazing place the second morning right next to the hotel and ate there instead..the bar prices were astronomical and the service was slow the first night we were there even though there were only ten people in the bar area. I was also disappointed that the spa and pool were not complimentary and was a secondary cost.
Close proximity.
Comfy bed with pillow choices was excellent. Face masks could be purchased also. A nice touch
Spa was £50 per person for two hours.it was a fantastic spa experience but maybe offer it slightly less expensive at certain times. The room was very reasonably priced and we got a room upgrade which was great
Did not know that there was an additional charge to use the Spa prior to booking and then to find out that for a 2 hour session for 2 people was an additional £100 I though was excessive
Professional staff who went over and above to make our stay a memorable one.
Nothing
Lovely hotel, fantastic position. Really warm and friendly Staff throughout our two nights day.
Spa was small but nice
The price of the spa was £50 for two hours on a fixed time slot. We sale it was overpriced for the size of the spa and facilities also there was no staff available to take our beverage order drawing a to our period which was disappointing
Beautiful building with stunning communal areas.
Rooms were a bit tricky to locate.
The bedroom decor was a bit dull.
It is summer so the room was a little bit warm and stuffy, the windows can not be opened and the air con was struggling. A fan in the room would be a great help
Excellent breakfast with knowledgeable and friendly staff in the restaurant. In general excellent food.
Not much.
Nothing
Windows don’t open in any room and they cap the air con so you can’t put it to a cool setting. The room was stuffy small and I felt chlostrophobic. I booked a standard room but I couldn’t believe how small it was. The amenities in the room were rubbish compared to most other hotels I’ve stayed at. I was allowed my dog to stay but he was far too hot in the room and I couldn’t keep him in there. I realised that I couldn’t stay in the hotel as I need a cool room and can’t open any windows and they gave me 0 refund for any of the 4 nights I booked. Very very bad. I only booked this hotel as it’s highly rated but god knows why. I found out you have to pay for spa access too? What a joke
