Stunning period, boutique hotel in the heart of Southampton. Absolutely beatiful renovation and lovely enhancement of the period features with a touch of modern and class. Perfection! Loved it! Room was great, huge and lovely bathroom. Was a touch warm on arrival but who doesn't like that, rather than cold & easily resolved. Check in staff were fantastic and even sorted us a gin and tonic in our room, when the bar was closed. A*

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

The location is in a very walkable area. The rooms are beautiful and the staff were all quite lovely. The breakfast next door was quite good and also a beautiful setting.

Cons:

No lift so be in good shape to carry your bags upstairs

Stunning rooms, terrible breakfast experience
Pros:

Room was lovely. Breakfast was chaos from start to finish. Rushed, staff clueless, buffet didn’t resemble description, no one took our hot drinks order, ordered breakfast missing main components, no one knew how to poach an egg! The breakfast lets down the gorgeous rooms - chatted to other guests and they were far less kind about breakfast and the “terrible” staff.

See above. Such a shame as intending to be a regular visitor to the city whilst our daughter is at uni, but would have to tho k long and hard about booking again ….

Very memorable and lovely experience..
Pros:

A fantastic find! Beautiful boutique style hotel with elegant charm. Very well located and the bedrooms were stunning.. Fantastic breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful and made my stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Although, there was a lovely bar area next door it wasn’t open on the evening I stayed which was a tad disappointing and you have to go next door for your breakfast which was a little inconvenient.. However, everything else was absolutely perfect..
