Excellent stay and highly recommended
Pros:

The location was very good, just walking distance from Ilford station. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. and had air conditioned which was much needed during such hot weather. There was complimentary breakfast.

Cons:

The room was slightly smaller. Toilet paper holder was broken. Bed was double bed but mattresses were two single mattresses and it would be better to have double mattress on double bed.

Summary:
+ Room gets hot even at night and they won't let you change the AC temp to lower than 20 degrees. There was NO WINDOW
+ The beds for twin rooms are tiny, i barely had room to move and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor, really hard and not comfortable.
The room was about 28 degrees at 11pm and the lowest temp on the AC you could set was 20 degrees. The room was not getting any cooler and I had a flight to catch at 4am so I needed sleep but as it was too hot i could not sleep.
The hotel locked the AC so the lowest could be 20 degrees. I don't know why they were being cheap on this, all other hotels allow guest to set the room to a cool temp. I had to call the hotel to ask them to lower the temperature, one staff told me 20 is very cold and should be enough. I told him the room is 28 degrees, i need to sleep but its too hot in the room and would not change the temperature.
I had to call again and this time it was 1am some other guy picked up and changed it to 19 degrees even though i asked for a cooler temperature. They would only degrees the temperature by 1 degree. I don't know what kind of money saving technique this was but I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone

I would like to make a complaint about the receptionist who was on duty at night. He was very rude, shouted a lot, and spoke to guests in an unprofessional manner. His behaviour was completely unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate action to ensure this does not happen again.
