The room was spotless, comfortable, and very quiet. The parking was convenient, making our stay easy and stress-free. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Special thanks to both the reception and housekeeping teams for their excellent service. As a lovely bonus, the hotel has a very friendly and well-behaved little cat, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Reasonable stopover but needs a lot of improvement
Pros:

A very reasonable price for a quick stopover on our journey South. Well positioned close to the A14/M11. Very friendly and efficient staff. The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfy. Good parking and wifi.

Cons:

The shower was very unsightly, with a rotten plinth and severe mould stains. The floor was not very clean and the room poorly equipped (no bedside tables, insufficient power sockets, nowhere to store clothes except one wardrobe). Outside the gardens looked neglected, with weeds everywhere.

Poor service
Cons:

I was stuck for hours minutes from the accommodation when as it was nearing 10pm I was trying to get in contact when the phone was finally answered I was abruptly told oh your booking has been cancelled we sent you a message on booking.com and we tried to call but couldn't get through!!! Just put in for a cancellation and they would do this waiving cancellation charge, now I had been travelling all day and have highlighted this with booking.com no suggestion of alternative accommodation, the motorway was cleared at 1 am at which time I was unable to find alternative accommodation and had to stay in my car.
