À convenient, cost-effective, comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The location: walking distance to Village Grocer supermarket, excellent restaurants especially Japanese and a good Malaysian foodcourt. It was kept clean by the efficient onsite staff. It has a drinking water dispenser, comfortable beds, ensuite Asian-style bathroom. There are 2 ironing boards with irons in the upstairs hall. There’s a large fridge where guests can keep labels food. It was easy to communicate with the offsite manager. There’s a snack/drink dispensing unit in the cool lobby on the first floor. I recommend Luna.

Cons:

The fact that there’s no pool is reflected in the low price. The larger (visually more elegant) rooms are downstairs and two front the busy road, so I asked to change to the back - upstairs to a smaller but very quiet room where I happily spent a week. As I always stay in Penang a month or two and am a budget traveller, I alternate accommodation between more expensive places with pool and less expensive with no pool. This works well for me, so I’ll definitely be back to Luna.

Great communication with people who are running this place (especially Jeana). Answered all the questions and was very helpful. It's super easy to check in and check out. Wifi was good and hot water system as well. Excellent location and very interesting building. Big + for trying to keep the place quiet after 10pm

Cons:

There could be installed better fan (exhaust) in the bathroom as it will help with mold and soundproofing the room would be very handy (could even start from foam rollers under the doors).
