Had to wait over 1 hour to get the codes to get in,people dealing with not answering.
And the little garden with the room was smelling of dog urine.

Terrible checking in process
No space to put anything else anywhere, no table/chair
Wifi didn't work
Broken shower
heavy drinkers shouting all night
strange green light always shine during the night, and no curtains to close lights from street fully

Pictures make the room look bigger than it was.

Says you'll be met with key but when you get there you have to ring for door code. Person on the phone was unsure of the process.

On the first evening, I noticed that the toilet was not flushing properly. The water would rise almost to the surface and then gradually drain away, meaning we often had to flush two or three times even after urinating. I reported this to Steve that same evening, and he said he would check it the following day.

The next day, nothing was done and we received no update. Later that afternoon, before we went out, I went to speak to Steve and reminded him about the toilet, as he had said he would check it while we were away. By then, I had also noticed that the bath was draining very slowly, with the water collecting before eventually going down, which made it difficult to use the bathroom comfortably.

I also asked about having the room cleaned and the bedding changed during our three-night stay. I was told that rooms are not cleaned or bedding changed as frequently for longer stays because of the cost and discounted rates. I found this disappointing, as I had booked the accommodation expecting a comfortable holiday and basic standards of cleanliness.

Steve then assured us that the room would be cleaned, the bedding changed and the toilet checked while we were out. However, when we followed up later that evening, he said he had been busy and had not checked it. He then said he would check it the following day and, if we were not happy, he could refund us and we could find somewhere else to stay.

This was frustrating because we had already settled into the apartment with our luggage and were on a planned holiday. Moving elsewhere at that stage was not really a practical solution.

Unfortunately, Friday came and the toilet still had not been fixed, the room had not been cleaned, and the bedding had not been changed. We were also only provided with two toilet rolls for a three-night stay, which ran out quickly, so we had to purchase more ourselves.

The bathroom issues had a real impact on our stay. We found ourselves relying on toilets when we were out

Misleading information on booking.com- nothing was mentioned about a deposit which is said to be refundable. It stated someone will meet us at property . We booked it last minute turned up at property after 1hr and was still waiting for info about how to get into property another person was also having difficulty with contacting the property too. 2hrs later got an email that I need to fill in a form and pay a refundable deposit before access code can be given to enter property . Once paid deposit an access code was sent . I don’t know when I will be refunded.
It also stated that parking was available. No parking at all .
Rooms were on first floor the stairs were steep and narrow so with luggage was very awkward as hardly any space once you opened the door stairs were right infront . It was a wet rainy day no parking and carrying luggage in to a property that had no entrance area just stairs to go up 🥵
